The teeny-tiny dragon continued to hide under the thicket of thorns, though he was still immediately noticeable due to the fact that the prickly bush itself was emitting thick clouds of greenish smoke. His wings were folded around himself like a scaly tent as he shivered inside, feeling tremors all the way down to the tips of his little toes.
Figures. The one time Toothless decided to be nice and go catch some fish for breakfast (read: nick them from one of the many fishing nets at the docks) was the exact same time a gigantic Dragon-Monster would be passing by. Serves him right for trying to help his stupid, lazy Human.
Now he was thinking as hard as he could, bulbous horns bunched up in concentration. Toothless didn’t trust this dragon one bit, since when did bigger dragons not eat anything smaller than them? If he were here, Hiccup would have known how to get out of situations like this. What would Hiccup do?
