That initial response didn’t help Sahlo’s nerves, as he tensed up more once the other dragon appeared to react aggressively. Of course, Sahlo had a similar response, taking a step backward with his wings spread, although he was more ready to take flight than to make himself look bigger. The silence the followed was confusing at this point, until the stranger finally answered. It atleast gave him another chance to look him over.

“…did you just… fall? Or was something… chasing you?” With damage like that, Sahlo’s eyes glanced upward, half-expecting there to be an even bigger dragon swooping in after them.

Row looked up at the skies for a moment as the other mentioned being chased. He almost forgot the reason why he was flying here in the first place. He finally let himself be comfortable around this other dragon for now, considering he didn’t seem to want to cause any harm. He could trust him...for now.

“Both.” Row stated with a simple tone. “I out sped him though.” He sighed. “I was trying to go back home to my territory after being in town, stealing food from clueless humans, and this guy just pops out of no where trying to make me tonight’s dinner.” He grumbled, looking over himself and his visible injuries.

Thankfully they were minor.

“I don’t know how to land. I saw a cave and dove for it, but I miscalculated. Now i don’t remember where it is.”

Sahlo’s eyes didn’t waver for even a second as the stranger moved. He was ready to take off at a moment’s notice. Although hearing those words caused him to ease up slightly, he wasn’t about to let his guard down just yet… Still, it was enough for Sahlo to poke his head from the bushes and slowly emerge, though he kept himself a good distance away as he looked the other dragon over, remaining in a rather defensive posture–puffed-up feathers and all. “Did you… crash?”

Hearing someone suddenly speak caught Row off guard. He quickly whipped his head around, bearing his teeth in defense, along with spreading his tattered wings some, an attempt to make himself look a little bigger. He looked over the rather-- fluffy -- dragon, easing up once he noticed this dragon was in his age group. He still was a bit on edge though. Row had trust issues after all.

“Y-yes...” He grumbled, embarrassment present in his tone.

@sonicstorm With the crash sound coming from literally the other side of the brush, Sahlo was quick to panic and hunker back into the bushes around him. For all he knew, that was the sound of something really big landing nearby, and he didn’t want to be on the menu. Instinctively the dragon’s feathers spread out as he peered through the branches, praying that whatever just landed didn’t see him. Luckily that was exactly the case, as his eyes landed on the dragon pulling himself out of his own crater. He didn’t seem to be all that bigger than Sahlo was. Still, he remained on edge. Size didn’t matter if the other one was looking for a fight.

Row growled a bit in pain, bringing his claws up to rub at his head. He gave out a sigh, bringing himself to get back up on his feet. He lifted his head up to try and take in any surrounding scents of other dragons. His yellow eyes scanned his surroundings after he picked up a nearby one, on edge, since he couldn’t tell if this other dragon nearby was bigger than him or not. “I don’t know if i can handle a fight with anybody right now” he grumbled.

Being met with another of his kind wasn’t anything new, he had to deal with many trying to pick fights with him every now and then, but it was surprise that this one seemed very friendly towards him. He was still wary, but he didn’t exactly want to get drenched in the rain either, and he was still terrible at flying to fly home; the safest bet was to take this strangers offer. “Okay, I don’t mind sharing at all.” Roland responded. “I will follow behind you.”

Charlie let a sigh escape his lips he could understand why the other couldn’t trust anyone given how humans hunt demons like themselves. “I don’t see what advantage I would get for leading another demon into the traps of human.” he responded. “I am heading towards a small village east of this forest.”

“You can never know what humans have up their sleeves half of the time. How do I know you’re not a demon they tamed? You could easily be working under some master trying to lure me out... but I’ll play along with your apparent distress.” Row scoffs. He then carefully eyes the other with his sulfur-like eyes, as if trying to read any ill intentions this stranger potentially had.

“A small village? And I assume you want me to walk you there hmm?”

"You can relax your guard. I just need to pass through this forest. I am not here to take over your territory" Charlie could tell that the other was a dragon demon from the scent that he gives off. "In fact I am a bit lost. I would appreciate if you could give me some guidance."
