Tye carefully carried the second plates to the table, now both place settings have three plates, one with eggs, bacon and sausage, another just for toast, and the final for hashbrowns with onions and cheese. It was a meal fit for both men. He was pleased as Farkas came into the kitchen, pressing a kiss to his mate's cheek. "Just in time, breakfast is all ready." He said happily. Even the perfectly cold apple juices sat in front of both plates. "Sit down, eat. the hashbrows came out perfect. I put cheese and onions in them, and in the eggs." The kitchen smelled delicious. 

“Let me know what you think.” He added, hopeful that his lover would enjoy breakfast. Tye wanted to make sure his husband, and his babies were getting their fill.

“I don’t get it. I said I’d never take anyone else, that I’d never give love another chance, why won’t destiny just butt out of this. I’m trying to give you space so I can think this all through, but you come back every time...” He’s shaking, the words only coming out after he had gotten himself sick from drinking a bit too much. He’s struggling with this all so much, tears falling quickly. “I said no more love in my life, love was what would’ve killed me so long ago...why can’t I just get away? My fate wasn’t supposed to be written out this way...”

Maybe fury has a price. Steve didn’t really know—he wasn’t like Farkas. But as the mighty wolf-bear took on the raggedy bunch of hunters that didn’t know jack shit better than to literally poke the bear, it was easy to notice—even more so as he brought Farkas back to the woods. He let his worry sink in more then; especially since he was half the mind to be sensible still when he finally heard the gentle roll and rush of the river. “You pretty much took care of all of them back there…” Steve grunted, keeping close to the other that he could glance over and have a good look and make sure. Not that Farkas is hurt… but. “…want to clean up first? It’d rid off their scent too, maybe…” Steve offered on, stealing a glance at how Farkas’ chest seemed to heave a bit bigger than usual.

I ain’t no doctor, but I know that you’re gonna be needin’ that arm. ❞ Never a good thing when his best hope is to convince someone not to do something, not when his best ability comes in physically stopping problems. But to believe he could genuinely overpower Farkas was an absolute joke. So words it was.

Farkas frowned as he looked down to his hands that were being held by Vince. He normally ran hot, hotter than necessary, but for some reason the chill of the day just didn’t shake from his body right down to his hands. He gave a grunt as he gripped Vince’s hands in his own and gave a little smile.

“ – See, this is why we shouldn’t have left bed today. If we stayed in there we’d be warm all over.”

for vincent to be cold was as normal as day, so used to being wolf, his body seemed to have forgot how to keep itself warm as a human, but he’s adjusted & dressed in more than most others. people didn’t really notice. but farkas was his very own personal heater, so to find him cold was .. worrying to say the least. “i mean..” alright, yeah, he had a point, but.. “we can’t stay in bed forever, though. i mean, theoretically we could, but there’s work & stuff. y’know... life.” he pushed his forehead against farkas’. “maybe you’re gettin’ sick?”  could a wolf bear even get sick?

     marco’d been chatting away with the guy at the bar. he was definitely not unhandsome and it didn’t surprise marco at all when he told him he was there for a date. but two hours had passed since the time his date should’ve arrived, and from the looks of it... nobody was coming. marco’d spotted someone that fit the description by the door, but after a quick look around, they had left again.      ‘hey man, i don’t wanna rain on your parade, but... i don’t think he’s coming,’ he said quietly, rubbing a glass dry with a towel. ‘so drinks are on me, take your time.’ he offered a brief smile before he put the glass away, towel over his shoulder, and pulled a stool from under the counter to sit down as well. ‘you alright?
