@fxrtunas stares at raha from a distance bc he wants to both hug and strangle raha for his self-sacrificial ways. >:c
allan had, much to his delight, made the occular his home here at the first despite their rough start— the company was much, much welcome.
having spent almost an entire lifetime by himself in his labour to prevent the looming threat of the eigth umbral calamity whilst shouldering the duty to remain as a beacon of hope for the people of norvandt, of the crystarium, in this crying, hopeless world, g’raha was unbearably lonely from time to time. oh, he missed home, he missed the source, he missed sharlayan, he missed the days where promises of new adventures would entail beautiful memories to be kept and reminisced under the starry night sky of hydaelyn— but he had long forsaken that pirvilege the moment he accepted his destiny as the caretaker of the crystal tower. and now, for the sake of everything that was at stake, he’d done an excellent job in burying those lingering feelings deep beneath the persona of the crystal exarch.
so when allan came, just like a fresh breeze of a gentle morning, he— somehow, reignited even the most concealed desires within g’raha. his invisible touch seemed to reach where g’raha thought was impossible, stirring strange and unnamed and unfathomable feelings inside his slowly crystallising heart that was burdened with great responsibilities the more time they spent together, and, twelve... he felt alive again. his world, once hung by the thread and filled with only the broken images of wars, sorrow, and violence— its magnificence completely robbed, was brimming with colours. he wanted... so many things, not because of his obligation or his mission, but because he simply wanted to although it sounded rather selfish. right now, he would love nothing more than to invite a viera who was... practically burning a hole into his head with his unblinking stare to join him. (was allan mad? had he unconsciously committed some atrocities?)
‘ you... may join me, if you would like, my friend. there is no need to stand so... far away. ’ smiling, g’raha offered. it wasn’t hard to catch a sliver of uncertainty in his voice though since he wasn’t sure what it was that allan needed; all allan did was giving him his utmost undivided attention that not even a light warden could rival with from the very moment he made his presence known in the tower— g’raha was a tad embarrased to be on the receiving end of such fierce contemplation truth be told... nevertheless, he scooted over and left an empty space for allan to sit down. the crackling sound of the fireplace and the chilly night did call for a cozy bonding experience, he supposed. really reminded him of the bygone days at sharlayan...
‘ come, sit with me. i could prepare some hot tea too if you would like. ’
