((OOC: I'm unsure if the last poster to fyeahroleplayingrabbit was making FUN of the guy before him or being all social jucticey how dare you be angry at your rp partner for not replying when they say they will because they don't want to hurt your feelings))
Duck and cover, because I'm about to rant.
Oooookay, I'm about to leave for class, and I just saw yet another fyearoleplayingrabbit post where someone's passive-aggressively whining about their partner. I'm getting really sick of these submissions in general, but I'm particularly annoyed by this trend of, "YOU SAY YOU CAN'T POST IN OUR STORY BUT YOU'RE POSTING WITH OTHERS SO YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY LYING TO ME!!" Not all stories are written the same way.
Not all stories are written the same way.
NOT ALL STORIES ARE WRITTEN THE SAME WAY!!
If someone says they aren't able to post in your thread for the moment, take them at their word and get over it. Different stories require different thought processes, different amounts of focus and energy, and different degrees of labor. Not only that, but the severity of these impacts will vary from writer to writer. There are some stories that certain individuals will find easier and more relaxing, while others may suffer from a lack of inspiration or adequate time to properly get into the character or setting -- and which threads are which won't always line up for everyone.
Not all stories are written the same way.
Besides, even if you're correct and your partner really is lying or ducking you, what good is it going to do anyone to keep making these passive-aggressive swipes at them? You're still not addressing the [perceived] problem, which means your situation isn't going to change, aside from possibly taking another step toward destroying your own friendship. If someone says they can't get anything done in your thread, accept it and do something else in the meantime. There HAS to be more going on in your life than the thread(s) in question.
