Location:

This small site is on a working farm on the edge of the village of Fylingthorpe. There are separate areas for motorhomes and caravans, tents and holiday homes. Also on site are glamping pods. The facilities are basic and old fashioned but clean and warm. There is a coded barrier entrance and exit. The facilities also have a separate bathroom with bath, laundry and dishwashing area. The dishwashing area was always rather untidy probably due to other campers. The reception was friendly and efficient. Drive over grey water disposal and chemical toilet disposal on site.

Within easy walking distance is a small shop and the local pub. A sometimes steep path leads down to Robin Hood Bay which takes about 10-15 minutes. There, there are plenty of pubs, cafés and restaurants. There is direct access to the beach but care must taken when the tide comes in.

Conclusion: The site is small and in some need of modernisation. We would recommend the local pub, The Fylingdale Inn, which serves tasty food. Robin Hood Bay is very pretty.
