Update
Hello guys!
If you guys were wondering where the fuck I have been the passed weeks, well I got a job. It was really unexpected. I had no clue nor did I ever thought about “what if I worked there?”.
So a local television media company hired me to be a part of their corporate public relations team. Me, being spontaneous and excited, went for it even though I don’t have knowledge or background with public relations or anything corporate. The Corporate PR manager explained to me what my job in the team was going to be, it sounded easy so I said yes and that I can do the job. Then she asked me when could I start. I said that I could start as soon as possible.
So week after I got my papers done, I started. First day was chill. Hardly did any work. The second day they tested out my writing capabilities. I wrote articles, reviews, and a little bit of research work. Third day, my foreign language skills were tested. The team told me that I did good. But my head felt like it got raped (lyrically, lol). And for two minutes I was looking at an english article and I could not read it. I don't know why but I just can’t do english for two minutes. The fourth day, the team took me to the presscon the company is hosting for a new show. I met a lot of journalists. I had fun but I lost a lot of energy. Friday came and I don’t think that I could keep up with work. The PR manager took me and a PR specialist to accompany one of the company’s celebrity to an event involving the newspaper and other local celebs. Fun and tiring as the night before.
I would talk about this week but I pretty much did the same things. My job is all about writing. Sounds easy but it’s really hard as it needs to get the people’s attention. It need to be alluring like a mermaid’s song and beautiful as a flower-filled garden blooming at the light of day. Plus, it includes taking care of both the press and celebs. I am honestly starting to love my job.
I’ll be doing this for six months. I will be back by November, probably. I do not know if I could take my job here in this blog. I haven’t asked my boss about it. If she was to say yes then you’ll see a lot of blogs from me.
With that, thank you for reading my blog!
