I am feral about the third book of Ghost in the shell- which doesn't exist, and especially the paralells between Ghost and Casey Jones Junior. I keep thinking about them bc I love both of them.

So.

Stay with me.

Both are from the future, both got sent away from their universe at sixteen, into a different universe (past new york might as well be a different universe), and both see someone else in the rise turtles (ghost his brothers but he's getting better about that, and Casey his family who the turtles can and never will be.) Both have a fish out of water experience and a shit load of trauma. I think Ghost would be able to provide Casey with the support the boy needs and he could totally see himself in Casey.

Both lost so much- and the only difference is hat Casey has nobody and nothing to return to.

And by that point, Ghosts brothers will be all dead too, (according to my calculations) he just doesn't know that.

I'm going to go and cry about it now.
