Titanic

With all these misunderstandings I start to understand myself less

I want to understand what’s wrong with me

What passed event really messed me up?

There’s a flood of emotions entering my body

I don’t want a blood transfusion because that’s black blood and I am already too  dark inside

Why can’t I understand that these things are important to you

Why aren’t they important to me?

My puzzle is losing all of its pieces

Call me nuts

But all I am is lost, like a missing boat

Get me a safety jacket because I’ll drown in my tears tonight

Let’s watch Titanic so you can have a visual of my world underwater

Lost hopes and dreams at such a prime time

I’m still young I tell myself 

But the musicians start to play to calm the crowd

There isn’t enough boats for everyone

Some are destined to drown

Some were destined for a future

But they’re all at the bottom of the ocean

Or as a main feature

I envy Jack

Because his world went pitch black

I envy Rose because she could let go

I envy the boat

Because at least they found it
