One plus side to having two toddlers is that they sleep through the whole night way more often than when they were babies.
While they’re asleep I've been working on the freelance gigs again. Without another income and a new baby on the way, I was going to need to rack up the $$ even more. I'm close to being able to afford a new place. This dinky starter home I bought when first moving here isn't enough for three kids to grow up in.

That night Elvis fought me on everything I tried to feed him. Lincoln screamed until I turned on the music for him to dance to. This little baby in me must feel my stress because he or she is kicking around like they are learning karate. How am I going to do this alone?

Luckily, Lincoln was sleeping like a baby (pun intended) when I got home from my date with Brent. Without even changing, I got back to writing. This baby was coming soon and my bank account wasn't ready.
I have Brent this time around to help but I don't want to have to rely on him.

The next day Brent insisted on dressing up to go on a nice dinner date. He thought it might help lift my spirits instead of eating pickles on the couch in my sweats .. again. He wasn't wrong, so I asked Ruby to watch Lincoln and spent the evening at a nice restaurant with Brent. Nothing I could ever afford. He does know we have a baby on the way, right?
