Generation One, Chapter One - A Summer Of Firsts
And so, Josie's first summer in Chestnut Ridge came to an end.
It had been a season of firsts and Josie had grown a lot from the new friendships, love, and heartbreak.
She felt more than ready for a fresh start, and couldn't wait to see what Fall had in store for her...
Josie did not take Dani's advice.
Josie: HEY, NINA. I don't know what game you think you're playing at coming back here, but you're not welcome. Don't even think about setting foot in this bar again. Here, take this back to Oasis Springs with you, and say hi to Johnny for me.
That evening Josie and Dani went to The Rusty Horseshoe. They grilled some food and ate outside, enjoying the last of the summer heat and bright evenings.
They were having a lovely relaxing evening until-
Dani: Uhh, Josie? Don't freak out, but I'm pretty sure Nina just walked in...
It's the final day of summer in Chestnut Ridge.
Josie and John have been seeing each other for a couple of months when John asks her to take a walk with him.
For Josie, he has only ever been a friend and a fun distraction, but it seems John wants something more serious...
Josie: John, I'm really flattered but... Can't we just stay as friends?
John: Oh. I thought we had something, Josie. I was really starting to like you
Josie: Right.. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea, that's just not what I want right now. Maybe we should stop seeing each other...
Cloudie was less than impressed that he'd have to share Josie's affections with yet another animal 😅
Josie picked out 3 adorable kittens to meet. She had no idea how she would possibly choose, until one very vocal little guy caught her attention.
It was love at first meow, and Josie's decision was made instantly.
