You know, I'm starting to wonder about the etymology of the names of the guardians from G2 Bionicle. Earlier today it occurred to me that the "moto" syllable in Narmoto's name is also the Swahili word for "fire", and Narmoto is the Guardian of Fire. I mean it just seemed so coincidental that Narmoto's name is spell like that, I mean this is Bionicle after all, the main Toa themselves are named after words in Maori language that coincide with their element. And after some more research, the "voda" syllable in Kivoda's name means "water" in Slovak, and he's the guardian of water.

What are your thoughts folks?

Personal opinion on Ekimu The Mask Maker? I see him as some sort of fusion between Takanuva and Mata Nui and completely insignificant, but that's just me.

Even then, you give him too much credit.

Now here's her in a body wrap, I got inspired by toubs for this one. A toub is a full-body garment worn by women in Sudan.

My take on Narmoto's spouse and the mother of their son (Who I headcanon named Rakau (Rah-kow "Kow" as it rhymes with "now")

So here is my own! 👏😊

Tala was born the oldest daughter of the head community leader of the village. One day at age 16, she ended up running into Narmoto, who would be the next Protector of Fire. At first sight Narmoto immediately fell in love with her, Tala didn't really feel much of Narmoto ever since their run-in on the other hand though. Narmoto however, made the first move by coming across Tala with a bouquet of flowers as a gift to her, which she was touched by, and Narmoto asked her if she wanted to hang out with him one day, which Tala replied yes to. On that certain day where did hung out for the first time, Tala felt herself having romantic feelings for Narmoto back. For years, they continued seeing other, and after Narmoto became the new Protector of Fire and Tala the new community leader, they both decided to tie the knot. They were a happy couple, and eventually became the parents of a son, who they named Rakau.

Tala is a kind, outspoken, and gentle soul, she loves her husband and son dearly. She worries about Narmoto getting hurt or possibly killed by the Skull Spiders and the other forces of Makuta, and feels the same way about the same things happening to Rakau. Tala prefers to do recreational activities in her spare time, those activities being weaving baskets and looming tapestry. Her main paraphernalia is her shawl, she wears almost all the time, why? Because it was an anniversary gift to her from Narmoto, it has a lot of sentimental value to her.

Tala has four younger sisters, they dote on their nephew.

I decided on doing the clothing thing where people draw the Bionicle characters in outfits because 1, I love artwork that depicts the characters wearing outfits with their own unique design. 2, because what's the fun of drawing an specific Okotan character that just looks like the ones we've seen the web series? Hm? Also I added the detail of Tala being a community leader and daughter of one because some of online descriptions of Narmoto say stuff about him a being a leader, I never thought of being the region's main guardian having to do leadership, that's why.

Just some Nartala? Talamoto? (I can't decide what to call their couple name) angst, because why not. I got inspired by the scene from the G2 fanstory Web Of Shadows (From Custom Bionicle Wiki) of Narmoto and that story's take on his wife, named Naiya, having a moment before Narmy heads over to Shion village, which was raided by the skull spiders. I like how this turned out, both of them be lookin' good
