This is my take on G7 My Little Pony!
I heard about G6 being on the way in 2027, so in the meantime I decided to finish up the first things of my version of G7, by that I mean the logo and the main characters. My G7 is mainly based after both G1 and G4, with bits of G3 and G5, and I'm keeping up with the Mane Six tradition, don't worry, I'll add the second unicorn one day, there's a big story I'm starting this out with. Here:
In the land of Equestria, a catastrophic event known as the “Unicorn Purge” happened, this caused every unicorn in the land to mysteriously disappear, but there were rumors that there was only one survivor. Eighteen years later, in the town of Hoofheart Hollow, a pegasus mare named Star Catcher has been reading about the event and is destined to find the rumored last unicorn, joining Star Catcher is Rocket Speed, her skeptical and overprotective older brother, and Cotton Candy and Fifi Bleue, her two earth pony friends. As they embark on a magical quest to find the last unicorn and find out what happened to the others.
And yes, it is based after The Return To Tambelon plot from G1, and you know what that means? Grogar is going to make a proper comeback to the franchise! 😀🥳 Well by default because I don't work for Hasbro, unless they will include him in G6. Anyways, lemme introduce you all to the characters!
Star Catcher (The Twilight)
Family: Turbo Trail (Father)
Rocket Speed (Older brother)
Back when the Mane Six trend first started with G4, the leader was Twilight Sparkle, who is a unicorn. Then in G5 the Mane Six leader was Sunny Starscout, an Earth pony, so here in G7 I decided on a pegasus has the Mane Six leader, by bringing back Star Catcher from G3 🙂
For her design I decided to give her braided pigtails with star barrettes on them and a braided tail with one as well, I thought it would be cute 🥰
Other things include that she was named after her paternal grandmother, who was named Starlette
She has a pet cocker spaniel named Wish
Sometimes Star Catcher will go out to sit near a lake called Mistvale Reservoir to think or write down stuff in a journal she keeps, said journal is mainly filled with notes or theories she believes in
Star Catcher also loves adventure, she has become disenchanted with just ordinary life in Hoofheart Hollow
Her journal is her most prized possession, she had it since she was eight years old and has chronicled so much in it, her life, her theories and beliefs, and the clues to solve the biggest of mysteries
Rocket Speed (The Rainbow Dash)

Star Catcher (Younger sister)
The only original character I created in the Mane Six, just like in G5, the pegasus members of the Mane Six are siblings.
Other things about him are that he feels skeptical about the rumor of there being only one unicorn who didn't disappear and feels like Star Catcher is getting her hopes up for nothing, but he is going to be proven wrong
Favorite food is hayburgers
In his spare time Rocket Speed practices aerial acrobatics
Other hobbies include playing soccer and going fishing
He is allergic to cats too, Rocket Speed will break out in hives if he touches one
Cotton Candy (The Fluttershy)
Family: Marshmallow Fluff (Adopted mother)
Brown Sugar (Adopted mother)
I combined both the G1 and the G3 designs for her design, also made her mane and tail curly
Cotton Candy has always stuck through with Star Catcher, they are however polar opposites, Star Catcher loves the thrill of adventure and solving mysteries, while Cotton Candy prefers to be in a safe little box away from everything that is scary
Other things about her is that she is very sensitive, either to negative comments or loud sounds
She has a pet chinchilla named Sherbetina
Cotton Candy's favorite hobby is drawing, she has drawn a lot of beautiful art but is too shy to let everyone see any of them
The sweet shop her mothers' own is called the Trots N Treats, it sells candy, desserts, and more

Jean Gallop (Younger brother)
She's more based after Baby Fifi than adult Fifi, also the "Bleue" part of her name is the feminine term for "blue" in French
While her first name is Fèlicie, she prefers to go by Fifi for short
Fifi is a very dramatic but good-hearted mare, she has never been afraid to speak her mind and hopes one day to be a famous dancer
Star Catcher and Cotton Candy are her closest friends, she refers to them as "Une amie" and "Les amis"
She also loves watching soap operas and going to stage play shows
Sometimes her parents employ her as the babysitter for her younger siblings when she's not busy, Fifi is completely okay with watching her brother and sister and plays with them
Her favorite food is lavender salad
Blazing (Glory) (The Applejack)

Family: Unknown biological father

Dragon Lord Jaws (Adopted father)
Dragon Lady Halcyon (Adopted mother)
Whimsy (Adopted older sister)
Spike (Adopted younger brother)
One day Dragon Lord Jaws and a couple of other dragons were searching for crystals to eat, that's when he came across a young unicorn colt wandering around fruitlessly. Taking pity, Jaws took the colt back to the volcanic Dragon Lands, where he and mate Dragon Lady Halcyon raised him as their own with their daughter Whimsy and later on their son Spike, renaming him Blazing. However, Blazing eventually realized he wasn't a dragon, both Jaws and Halcyon explained to him that he was a unicorn instead, and that his kind mysteriously disappeared one day. This crushed Blazing, he was the last of his kind, and it made him extremely bitter at life
You know how in G4 Spike was raised by a family unicorns? Well how about here we think outside of the box and flip it around, a unicorn raised by dragons
My inspiration for his character and design was Riven from Winx Club
Since he couldn't consume crystals, Blazing sustained himself by eating the grass or flowers that were out in the field right outside the Dragon Lands
Despite knowing that they weren't his real family, Blazing has a good relationship with all of them, however he sometimes views Spike as an annoying younger brother
He's a bit of a deadpan snarker
So there you have it! My G7 My Little Pony, and I bet you all are wondering why I don't have headcanon VAs for them like I usually do with my characters. The reason, I think I want to try and make fan-generation of mine even bigger in the future one day, however I will create plenty of stories for G7 👍🏻
