u have advent children? I watched that like six times in hs bc my friend had a dvd. we used to call it final fantasy advent calendar.

YEA stztzgdhd its not even the complete version (like ff7ac complete or whatever it was called) but i would watch it all. the time. all the way from grade school to high school. i also have the soundtrack on cd LMAO it was my first and only exposure to the ff7 series for a long time and ive only relatively recently played the original game but i still liked it lol

I personally love the idea of naming a baby jetpack. that being said, I did name one of my (favorite) rats jetpack

The argument that I’m getting is that naming a pet Jetpak is acceptable, and that a baby is not a pet, and will ultimately grow up into their own person. A person who, if named Jetpak, will most likely not end up being someone who fits that name. Some accountant with a discgolf hobby, idk - someone who’s not Jetpak, or even Jet. 

So like. I want my kid to kinda be able to make up their own identity. If I have an accountant with a discgolf hobby, that’s dope! I don’t want them stuck with a name that doesn’t fit them.

Then again, since we’re not choosing a strictly gender neutral name, they might end up changing their name anyway, so like. I dunno. 

Frankly, if I look down at that wrinkled up face for the first time and think ‘Jetpak,’ well... the name’s still very much on the table, is what I’m saying. But until that passionate need-to-name-the-kid-this moment, I need a more acceptable name to tell my family. (And maybe to put as a technical first name, but call them Jetpak, idk...)
