Posters/ name badges

Posters were pinned up around UTS several days before the event, this allowed us more time. to promote our installation at UTS as well as online on our social medias.

The name badges were placed over each of our respective job name badges which we wore alongside a uniform of white and black suit attire to match the theme. - bri

Physical sculptures for instillation by gab Milner

Shopping for props: For the 2 non-interactive props, we visited Glebe's Vinnies in which we found a ceramic vase and a sculpture bust. These were then used as our two remaining sculptors. While there, we also picked up art prints/ posters which we would use to fill the excess space within the first room alongside grabbing some fabric to use to cover the interactive sculptures. We also visited an art store not far from UTS where we picked up some wire which we eventually replaced with cardboard for the base of the sculptures. We also picked up gold paint which was intended to be used for the cardboard framing around the animations, which was eventually scrapped and printed out instead.

While planning the props Gab and I (bri), initially planned to work with dense wire and use plyers to bend and form the bases of the sculptures into shape, however after a few hours of atttempting this we decided it would be too strenuous to continue to build it like this and instead Gab brought forward the idea of using cardboard which Gab used to complete the finished bases of the sculptures. These were then completed by wrapping fabric carefully around the base and positioning the LED lamp within the sculpture ready for the installation. - bri
