okay, so i said i was going to look for more angsty shakarian fics to share. i didn't find angst yet, but i DO want to share a fic that has quickly become my all-time favorite read. it's just...there's so much fluff and cuteness and the domestic feel of it all is perfect. the fic is called domesticity.

i highly encourage you to read it, especially if you love shakarian. even if you don't, the fic is absolutely adorable.

Hey, would you mind linking me to some of your fave shakarian fics?

OF COURSE I WOULDN'T ANON! :D mind you, most are nsfw, so i hope you love like smut~

first up we have the series':

the 'like you and me' series by warlordfil is absolutely beautiful. it's set in au time with garrus and shep fighting in the contact war.

the 'research' series by inthenightside is another brilliant shakarian series. shepard meets up with a turian/human couple on the citadel by accident and learns a few things from them. it's fluffy, smutty, and beautifully written.

the 'galaxy' series by bountyhuntress16 is one of my more recent reads and i was hooked from the beginning. it's an au series about shep on omega, living life as a hooker. she meets archangel and, well, it goes from there. lots and lots of smut, and not just with garrus. just a forewarning.

now for the chaptered fics:

through an ai, darkly by strangegibbon is angst-filled, but an amazing read. the plot is a bit difficult to explain, but, essentially, the normandy crew (me2) is trapped in a rogue ai and it's up to shepard to everyone, or at least those that she can, out. it's also a bit of a long one, so set some time aside if you're going to read it.

and lastly, the one shots:

translation unnecessary by noobcake is one of the first shakarian fics i read and is one of my all-time favorite shakarian fics. i just really really love it, okay?

the hundred year distance by fondleaf is a heartwrenching fic that'll leave you with so many feels, you won't know what to do with them. it's placed post reaper war and at the end of shepard's life.

domestic dynamics by dizzydodo is filled with smutty goodness. also, dom!garrus. need i say more?

ugly like a turian by fourthage is a wonderful fic in which shepard realizes that, by turian standards, garrus isn't exactly the most handsome guy. she proceeds in showing him how wrong she thinks those standards are. it's so sweet.

hands-on training by servantofclio has innuendos galore! sniper training followed by shakarian smexy tiems.

last shot by pluto is battlefield sex. not much else to say, there.

bath by quondam is another amazing fic. garrus has to nurse shepard's injuries from the war and soon finds out that it's not the only thing he needs to help with. it's just sickeningly sweet and beautiful and filled with smutty goodness to match. 

well, fuck. by quondam (can you tell i like their writing?) is placed between me1 and me2. shepard shows up at garrus' door looking for somewhere to spend the night, and shakarian goodness ensues.

a few new things by quondam is straight smut, mmkay? it also features an unsure garrus.

pillow talk by quondam (I REALLY LOVE QUONDAM'S WRITING, OKAY?!?!!) is set just after shepard's ventures on menae in me3. perfect mixture sweet and smutty.

the perks of working late by fourthage is another one of my favorites. james catches shakarian during their sexy tiems. it's hilarious, but also serious towards the end. a really good short read.

lucidity by flippedeclipse is sleep sex. basically, garrus wakes up from a hot dream with a boner and shepard's asleep. you can figure what happens after that. 

visual stimulus by servantofclio is another one of my favorite shakarian fics. it gives a little explanation as to why garrus never takes off his visor. smut smut smutty smut.

there are also a shit ton on the mass effect kink meme, so if you search for a bit, you'll find them. i just don't have the energy to look all of them up for you. XD i hope these hold you over for a bit! there's plenty more, so don't just stick to these.
