More often than Brie cared to admit, she was being dragged into some project her mother had decided to take on -- This time, it had been a charity event she wanted 'feedback' on, which really just meant she wanted to brag to her daughter for an hour and a half, then talk over her anytime she spoke. Needless to say, any interaction with her mother typically soured Brie's mood for the rest of the day. The staff of the Aubrey learned to recognize the look in her eye, opting to steer clear as she moved to leave the building, but a poor bystander managed to end up in her line of fire -- Both literally, and figuratively. As painfully cliche as it is, her tunnel vision has her misstepping, colliding with another body. Nothing detrimental, but enough to pull a frustrated huff from her, annoyance only growing once she lays eyes on the person she'd shoulder checked.
"What are you doing here, Gabriel?" Her tone is accusatory, as if their cleary unexpected run in is deliberate. It's difficult not to be hostile wherever Gabe Passerini is involved -- It's practically her default setting now. It's easier to be angry with him, than it is let herself open that door again. Instead, she takes the easy route: Reprimanding him him for something that wasn't his fault. "Don't you know how to act in public? People are walking here."
