Alyse's tired steps began to falter as they jogged further down the beach. Without stopping, they glanced back with a sweaty, furrowed brow and took in the distance they'd made from their original starting point- all but from the opposite side of the event.
Their gaze spun forward once more and danced about the beach like a jittery cutiefly: Faces of other concerned humans. Pokemon. Tails. Claws. Fangs. Armor. The sharp corner of a table. The fragile rim of a glass. Seashells that begged to be buried. Stars in organized chaos. A blur of color, yet still no sign of their team.
Was someone attacking Leylo? Was Leylo attacking someone? They knew him, but not everything. Nor did they know everything about their universe. Did something get out of hand? There were all sorts of powerful Pokemon here, nonetheless from other universes. What if they came face-to-face with a deity? What if there was irrevocable damage being made? What if it'd already been done?
Their attention was snatched by a flash of fire that lit up the approaching hammock area, spitting orange over the palm trees. Despite the aching in their legs, they forced themself forward in another boost of speed and rasping breath, swerving around other guests.
Gabe and Nat.
A shock wave ran through Alyse as they came face-to-face with the hosts. This was their home. They didn't have to invite them here.
The prospect of being responsible for trouble during their celebration brought Alyse to shamefully tear away their gaze from the duo, making a beeline for the palm trees that shrouded the battle.

After waking up from a restful night’s sleep, Alyse slipped their green scale into a pocket and went through part of their morning duties. Their bag had been stuffed with all sorts of things as they traveled, so they took time to unpack and organize some of it.
With the team still asleep in their pokeballs, it was a fairly quiet start to the day. That is, until they spotted a familiar person walking down a path, with an empty basket in his arms.
Alyse stalked Gabe from the bushes as he picked oran berries. A smirk crawled across their face the longer they went without being noticed, even going down on all fours to inch closer and closer to him. They blended in. He had no idea.
Once they were close enough, Alyse leapt from the bushes and grappled Gabe from behind.
Despite their playful efforts, the sneak attack didn’t have much effect on the giant. In one swift motion, Gabe threw Alyse off his back and onto the jungle floor.
They laughed about it as the green-haired human got their bearings back together and was helped back up. After some talk between the two, Alyse helped Gabe pick and fill his basket with berries before bounding back off to their camp- with a few stuffed in their pockets.

Audible yells and laughter can be heard from the campsite. Upon closer inspection, a human and grimmsnarl can be seen running around each other as they spar.
