RIP, Aron Eisenberg (1969-2019)

On screen, you powerfully created the Star Trek character who probably had the greatest, widest, most optimistic personal growth of any Star Trek character ever written: (from) a teen street rat in the ghetto stealing to survive to a decorated hero, whose character as conceived by the actor who played him gave us Star Trek's most realistic portrayal of physical and emotional trauma that led him from his early role to who he became with "Its Only a Paper Moon".
He will always be dearly beloved to me and all of us. As long as we celebrate the Star Trek spirit of a young man who started with little, had a dream, and became Something More, we will never be without him. "
