David Ottomas and Jules O'Mackey finally got engaged...

... and married. They had a very humble wedding ceremony with only their closest family members invited. (That was so chaotic like why were they standing so far away? 😂)

Overall it was a nice little get-together. Everybody had a lot of fun.

Samantha and Peter Ottomas still have some unfinished business but thank god it didn't overshadow David and Jules' special day. Can't invite anybody these days. 😩

VeronaHills, Round Sixteen: O'Mackey

The Summerdreams landed to lavish the twins with love.

Gabe was quietly relieved when Nico bid farewell for some time in the city, leaving him with just the extra company of Puck's parents. He knew how faerie clans liked to gather together - his brother Jason had hosted the Summerdreams for some time in his home, too, easily convinced by his wife Rose. An appreciation for faerie culture helped with such a decision of course! As the days stretched on, though, Gabe felt his good cheer also stretching into a grin. Oberon and Titania were no hazy hedonists when it came to their grandchildren (they would resume partying post-school age); Iver and Robyn were watered, sun-warmed, and overall very well enriched.

A trio of live-in grandparents gave both Jules and Puck priceless opportunities to rest and recharge. The former even had time to step in and rescue the marriage of her good friends Mitch and Max! Well, it wasn't a complete superhero moment, but she was able to check in and remind them of everything they'd been through over the years. Was it worth a shot to become a true blue couple once again? They both looked at each other, shoulders dropping, taking deep breaths, and answered yes.

Then, when Petruchio passed away curled up in a blissful ball in his favourite bed, the family truly appreciated being under the same roof, tending to the same garden.

Gabe let tears fall onto many shoulders, and was a shoulder for others. Grief was well navigated as a tribe.
