This round for the Goth’s was truly just a round of birthdays, the first one being Bella aging in to an elder. I think she looks good, even with her slightly sunken cheeks 😌

She also aged up while in platinum aspiration and she’ll be around for another 42 days god help me. Cassandra will be an elder and Alex will be one day away from becoming an elder by the time Bella passes naturally. If she passes naturally that is. Watch her die from the elder sickness mod or I get hit with another ROS telling me to kill her off lol 😭

Next to age up was Alexander, the first of two premade children to reach adulthood. I believe Lucy is also aging up this round but we’ll get to that when I get there. I took him out of the Science career and put him into the Natural Science career.

In the midst of all these birthdays, I did actually manage to get a singular goal completed. Mortimer reached max science enthusiasm while watching the weather channel. Thank you Mortimer, for your final act of service before you die next round.

We have our first set of twins in the save! And wouldn’t you know it, they’re both baby girls. My previous baby boy epidemics in previous saves is seemingly absent in this one. It’s actually the complete opposite.

Baby girl in the blue is Benazir and baby girl in the yellow is Nighat.

Porthos and Dakota are also expecting puppies in the next round, 3 to be exact as confirmed with the pregnancy scanner.

No progress made towards goals in this round with the Roseland family but I don’t mind. I’d actually like to avoid unlocking other neighbourhoods too quickly to avoid having a bunch of sims thrown at me in quick succession lol.

Dina and Nina met up after rounds of not speaking to one another due to the whole Don fiasco. Dina apologized and they agreed to start fresh.

Later that night, Orion aged up into a child.…no birthday party because I didn’t feel like throwing one lol.

Don proposed to Dina and I completely missed it 🥲 All I have is this picture of me noticing the ring on her finger and their memories.

Dina had her opening day at the salon and she managed to make it to rank1. Thank god her silver cosmetology badge didn’t fail. I would’ve had her stayed longer and get to rank, however, her needs were tanking because….

She was pregnant with her and Don’s second baby. So I had her stay home for the rest of the week so I could take care of her properly.

Also got little Dulcinea into private school this round.

Dina ended up giving birth to a baby boy Amadeo near the end of the round. He and his older could not look more unalike lol.

No unlocks from this family in round 4 unfortunately, but I’m 99% sure Don is going to reach the top of the medicine career next round and if I set my mind to it, I think I can get Dina her gold cosmetology badge. We’ll see.

Meadow’s got dreams of making it big in the Magician career (default replacement of the Entertainment career made by EpiSims). She’s one of the few sims in the hood starting their career from literally the bottom up.

She also dreams of being the only person in Angela’s life that she loves but she begrudgingly accepts the fact that Angela needs some time to figure out who and what she wants and is fine with how things are….for now.

I guess it is kind of fitting that this is her uniform since it is clown behaviour to willingly be a side piece.

And with that, round 3 of Unlocking the Uberhood has been completed.

I needed someone to start working on getting a gold fishing badge so Cyd it is. He had a pond installed in his new backyard and he spends his nights fishing since his transformation keeps him up during the night. Bonus that he gets a snack out of it, too - I have a mod that lets werewolves eat raw fish.

Towards the end of the round, I had him take out Nina on a date and they both ended up rolling the want to get engaged. Is it a bit fast considering they haven’t been dating for that long, but they spent so long avoiding their feelings for one another and they know they want to be together so they said screw it.

Cyd invited Nina back home after their date ended and he ended up asking her to move in. She gladly accepted and took a quick trip back to her former apartment to pick up Dakota. Cy was slightly worried as to what her reaction would be to his supernatural side but she was more than accepting of it. Helps that she also has some supernatural in her, which Orion seemed to sense as he became comfortable around her quickly.

Joe has finally find out the truth about Skip's death and Gordon's involvement in it. He packaged up all the evidence and used his daughter's birthday party later that night to give it, as well as something for protection, to his sister.

Brandi was somewhat annoyed since her brother had made it more than obvious about his distaste for Gordon and thought this was just another silly paranoid rambling from her little brother. However, she noticeably went quiet once the word's 'Gordon's involvement in Skip's murder left Joe's mouth and accepted what he wanted to give her. She left the Newbie house that night with a troubled look on her face.

Mountain Vacation Goal Completed: Have a Sim Turn Into a Plantsim

Yeah so I have a mod that makes it so you can’t become a plantsim from spam spraying pesticides for hours upon hours and have mods that allow you to turn into one in different ways (i.e., potions from gypsy or witches, having another plantsim spray pollen on another to transform them). Now since there’s no other playable plantsims at this point, my only option was him transforming through a potion but I didn’t want to make it so easy and have him become one right away. So I just set a rule for myself in this particular case that he was not allowed to buy and drink the potion until he achieved a gold badge in gardening. And here we are.

Jennifer and Lucy took John’s decision to become a plantsim pretty well. That is to say that they didn’t care at all. Whatever makes him happy.

And of course, what is a plantsim if they don’t grow their own plantbaby? John has become the ultimate girl dad in Pleasantview with the arrival of Floris Burb.

Well. There goes Coral. Sucks because she was close to getting a gold badge in Flower Arranging and therefore fulfilling another unlock goal. Now that’s dead and gone along with her.

Now here’s the death, the only one really, that I was expecting to happen this round. Fun fact, if she didn’t actually get murdered by ROS, Coral would’ve lived until next round where she then would’ve died of old age.

RIP Coral and Herb Oldie; you lived to be 96 and 103 days old respectively.
