Oh no, literally, don't be sorry! Because I agree with you. His abuse of Cas in 6-7 was HORRIBLY ooc. I saw a post once talking about the 'baby in a tenchcoat' line and comparing it to his attitude in Point of No Return, when he tells Bobby he's not his father. He knows what those things do to people, how to get to them, and he doesn't just say them offhandedly and then NOT know why they are bothered. So no, in 4-5, they are great, but in recent years, just no.

You know that line he said to Cas, is actually one of the things I want to talk about for a while in a destiel meta I'm currently writing but don't know when I'll freaking finish it. So it's really interesting that you pointed it.

As well as the fact that, like Jenna said too, he knows those things to say to people to hurt them : it would be interesting to check if he gave such low blows before the 4th season, because then it might be linked to his training as a torturer by Alistair... and that's a whole different issue.

Anyway, we all do agree that things were off - OOC or not - in the last seasons.

Dean is indeed a hero/anti-hero, and a lot of us tend to identify to him, so it's hard to really be impartial in his case.

But morality and emotional/mental health issues are really something taken way too lightly by a lot of writers in this show especially in the last seasons. I just hope it's gonna change a bit.

If you really watch reading is fundamental, if anything, he's humoring her. I don't believe for a second Ben would actually put him trusting, or god forbid LIKING her. He's not that stupid. He's just under extreme distress. It's the same way he flits off to avoid conflict or has 'stopped fighting to watch the bees', he's using his mental state as an excuse to not think about what's happened, and he's 'close' to Meg because, well, she's there, and he knows the Winchesters won't be

i guess that's one way to look at it that's slightly less unnerving. i just don't like that it's even there at all, ever dfhshdgfhg. i'm just being a baby about it, I guess. my problem is just that the magnitude of what meg has done is completely forgotten

and she just chilled out for a while and then came back and was helpful and suddenly she's being shipped with cas and forgiven and a victim of circumstance

i loved ruby, but she seriously fucked over sam and dean and I would never under any circumstances want her to have survived/been shown in a positive light. same with meg - she did some really horrible things and it's like the slate has been wiped clean.

like, whether or not cas is really interested or what isn't as bothersome as just the idea of meg even being in this at all

1. Do you truly believe in anything supernatural?

In all honesty, I don't know. That sort of stuff really scares me so I try to tell myself it's not real, even though deep down I do have my queries. So I don't really know - until I see something really convincing, I don't think I'll ever really believe in supernatural things.

2. What is your heritage, or where were most of your ancestors from?

Most of my ancestors are from Scotland - hence the Scottish surname McMahon - but if you go way back my family also come from Ireland.

3. Who is your celebrity crush?

jfc I have so many! Errrr I'd say my biggest celebrity crush is George Clooney. nngh

4. Dean, Sam, or Castiel?

asdfghjkl;sjdhf I have this constant tie between Dean and Cas, I can't ever choose. Ultimately I guess I'd have to say Dean, but I really do completely and utterly adore Cas.

5. What is your OTP in Supernatural and what is a ship you really don't like or can't see the point in?

Destiel are my OTP. I don't like Wincest and I really don't like Megstiel.

6. If it was your last day on Earth, what is one thing that you would do?

Honestly? I'd want to catch a plane to Australia and give Rosie a big fat kiss but the flight itself would take 21 hours so I guess I wouldn't be doing that /sobs

haha I guess I'd give my psychology teacher a snog and spend the whole day with the people I love the most. Not really a lot you can do with just one day.

I love Batman so much so yeah TDK is definitely one of my all time favourite movies.
