First post and it's for this ship ;-;. Anywho I drew these two (plus Isabel) cause I finally am OKAY at drawing humans. I drew this on ROBLOX Free Draw so it's really sketchy and their colors are screwed up. :') I'm a amateur artist so… ;-; (I'm cringing so hard rn just thinking about posting this-)

The complicated mess of Avaloran love life, or: How your first love can not always be your true love, but lead you into the right direction.

Plot: Convinced that Elena will not return his romantic love, with everything else she has to worry about, Mateo closes himself off from Elena's way into his heart and goes out with Rita because she shows romantic interest in him. But when Rita turns out to be Carla in disguise, who has been spying on him all along, he is heartbroken. Elena stays by his side as his best friend through it all. And Mateo realized that his attraction to Rita was just an unconcious distraction and projection to protect himself from possible rejection by Elena. When the Queen sees Carla and Mateo dance again, she becomes jealous and confesses her own love. Carla watches the Queen and Royal Wizard dance, overjoyed to have helped them getting together after so many years. Meanwhile, Gabe sees Elena as well and remembers her fondly, full of contentment. He has long since moved on from his crush on Elena in the beginning of his career. When Elena rejected his advances, he realized that it was only a fantasy. Pushing him onto the path that lead him to his true love. Now he is more than happy being pulled into a dance by Naomi. Just as Gabe, Naomi cannot help but remembering her first love,too. When Vi left to sail the world, Naomi felt heartbroken. And just as her feelings for Gabe started to blossom, Chloe pulled him away from her like a whirlwind and Naomi had almost given up on love. But Gabe realized his own feelings for Naomi with Chloe's help and came back to his special someone and the Norberg Lights. Naomi and Gabe are unaware of Chloe's involvement and emotional sacrifice respectively. Chloe is happy that Gabe has fun now, but she cannot stop the heartbreak when she is alone. Hector reluctantly comforts his daughter, but instantly answers his soft words with boasting. After all, he is the one to arrange for Alonso to come to Norberg that day. Chloe and Alonso have been promised to marry one day. They are not in love at this time (… yet) but have started to become friends and Chloe is delighted to see him again.

Yes! First of all: Gabelena is my OTP! For me, they have a lot of potential and I really love the dynamic between these two, they are so different and similar at the same time

Elenaomi is also pretty cute! The looks they sometimes share melt me!

And Carteo was a lovely surprise in this scene (why isn't any Gif on the searcher?!)

Do you have any other fave ships besides Carteo?

Hi! Thanks for the ask! I also enjoy the ship Vexian (Vex x Varian) from Tangled the Series. Besides Vexian and Carteo, I don’t have many other favorite ships. I shipped Gabelena for the majority of the series and always thought that they would make a cute couple. However, the finale showed us Gabe and Naomi as a couple and Elena rejected Gabe (and Mateo) outright, so it’s pretty clear that it’s not going to happen.

Hey! Here I am again with another ship edit☺️ I was showing a friend how to do an edit and I tried to think to myself what I haven’t done. I actually already answered this in another ask here, but I decided to add on some other ships that I like.

Elenaomi (Elena x Naomi): I love their friendship in canon, and I can see it progressing to romance in the future!

Gabelena (Gabe x Elena): I really enjoyed Gabe and Elena’s interactions and how Gabe changes to trust Elena more with her own decisions. I just think they make a great pair!
