it fascinates me how genuinely annoyed monosexual people are with the fact that bi men and women share certain experiences due to our orientation in such a special way. like the fact that men can share my orientation now has to mean that they somehow contaminate it for me as a bisexual woman and how i love or vice versa. like we somehow both discredit each other by existing or mar each other’s identity by existing OR loving each other. i reject that propaganda entirely!!!! bi women and bi men make me feel more wholly myself and I’m grateful both exist!!! they do not contaminate my love or identity or cheapen either!!! they are not infiltrating my space!!! we belong in each other’s space like y’all will never catch me selling my brothers out idc it is always cringe for bisexuals to hate bisexuals!!! we will destroy the patriarchy together i believe it!
Bi women get way too much flak. I’ve definitely meet many kind, compassionate, caring, supportive, intelligent, thoughtful, humble, and strong bi women. Bi women, and mspec women in general, are really great.
I hope
Bi people in m/f relationships
Bi people of color
Poly bi people
T4T bi people
Bi people who have never been in a relationship
Bi people who once ID'd with a different sexuality
Late in life bi people
Bi people who don't experience romantic or sexual attraction
Any bi person that doesn't fit the white cis skinny stereotype or is considered a "bad" or "incorrect" bi person
Are all having a good bi week!
Blade Bisexual! 🗡️💖💜💙🗡️
Inspired by: the Bisexuals of the Blades (iconic bi wives) who were commonly mistaken (even by their own wedding photographer!) as lesbians. Bisexuals are a force to be reckoned with <3
While Battleaxe Bisexual is a panphobic notion (and the flag doesn’t resemble the bi flag as well as it could!) I do appreciate the idea of a term for bisexuals that look at the nuances around how bisexuals are treated. Blade Bisexual is not against pansexuality, however, is critical of how pansexuality has been far too often seen as a “better alternative” than bisexuality. I think that a few well meaning bisexuals who are exhausted with biphobia can be swept up into the Battleaxe Bi community. It is no excuse, but vulnerable ppl can be taken in and influenced by harmful notions. Blade Bisexual advocates for bisexuals without it being a footnote or stepping stone to gay/lesbian, or an “outdated version of pan”. And swords are just as cool as axes!
Being exclusive is not always a bad thing!! While pride is open to everybody- queer ppl of any time, cishet allies, ppl who are questioning, etc. there are also queer clubs, communities, bars, that are lgbtq ONLY. And that’s so necessary. Lgbtq ppl need a space away from cishets- while joining vast communities is so important, we do not need that all the time. I also think that bisexuals need their own spaces (just as gays/lesbians have their own spaces) for their solidarity.
Blade Bisexual is against biphobia, and is less about “all lgbtq should stick together all the time!!!1!” and more about “while the lgbtq is all valid and is not a choice, there are too many biphobes within cishets and the rest of the queer community as well”. Blade Bisexual is about bisexual solidarity, bisexual love and bisexual romance, bisexual friendship, bisexual pride, and that well earned bisexual rage ;) Blade Bisexual is just a less hateful version of Battleaxe Bisexual tbh.

I’m so tired of seeing bi positive/bi pride posts, and then clicking on op’s blog and finding out they hate pansexuals. I’ve literally never met a pansexual who told me I couldn’t be attracted to trans/nonbinary people or whatever the fuck the panphobes are claiming that pansexuals are saying now (either online or in real life). I’m friends with pan people and it’s literally fine. Maybe there really are a handful of pansexual assholes out there (because anyone of any sexuality can be an asshole) but they are such a small minority. I’ve seen so many panphobic bis crying about how the pans are hurting the bi community, and not a single pan saying bis are bad/outdated/transphobic/whatever.
I don’t want my sexuality to become synonymous with exclusionism. It hurts every time a bi pride post ends up being posted by a panphobe. This happens to the vast majority of bi pride posts I come across.
So this one’s for the bis out there who stand with our m-spec siblings. All the bis who are happy and comfy with their label and don’t need to get upset because there are other labels similar to ours. All the bis who are sick and tired of bullshit and discourse.
Be suspicious of anyone who tries to make you hate other queer folks, and solidarity forever. 💖💜💙
real friendship is the ace friend and bisexual friend sending each other any post that references the other’s sexuality
