Do you like EJ better with Sami or Nicole?
Just so everyone is aware, I only started watching Days when Dan joined and so my answer is based on what I have personally seen since mid June. (I have a bit of knowledge of their VERY complicated history but I have no strong feelings about those since, as I said, I didn't see that unfold back then.)
I personally like EJ with Sami. During those few episodes before the affair was made known, I felt they both were truly happy to be with each other. I especially love that scene where they met at door of the mansion after the successful coup at DE. I'm looking forward to when EJ finds out Sami has been kidnapped and I fully expect him to be all gung-ho in trying to save her.
This dating and kiss with Nicole, the truly magnificent asshole behavior towards people who oppose him, I believe Nicole is correct that he's just trying to catch up to the world that kept spinning while he was away. And trying to cover up his pain over what happened with Sami.
I mean, the man is still wearing his wedding ring despite calling his wife all sorts of nasty names in public. He proudly proclaimed he got rid of all reminders of Sami and yet the wedding ring stays firmly on his finger. Me thinks doth protest too much, EJ.
