Gabriel Gassi - Face

The latest concoction from Gabriel “Gassi” Gruvberg’s tropically-infused electro pop, the Swedish artist releases his latest single for “Face”. Jiving to muted percussion and saccharine hum of his rendered vocals, "Face" syncs to the zipping zoom of his cutting synths on his latest single. A track about commitments and expectations, Gassi explains the notions of his antisocial pop number:

“‘Face’ is about distancing yourself from something or someone that requires more of your time and engagement than what you’re actually able to meet. It’s a summery uptempo tune with a somewhat harsh lyrical message sung in a playful way.”

Gabriel Gassi - Rosebud

“Rosebud” is the latest track from Gabriel Gassi, another curious track from the Stockholm dance pop artist. Dipping to the grooving undulation of its wobbly bass lines, “Rosebud” creeps over its playful melodies to globs of amorphous synths. For Gassi, music has been always been a form of escapism from an early age just as when he first started at just a tender 10-years-old with some outdated music software that would seal his future and fate in music as he explains:

“I wrote this song during a time when I didn't have a lot of money. I escaped into the world of video games, finding cheat codes to at least make my virtual life more extra.”

Gabriel Gassi - Lost

Gabriel Gassi, real name Gabriel Gruvberg built his brand of music combining elements of pop R&B to thundering dancehall production. His latest single “Lost” is a dedication to that sound with its shocking synth waves jolting over its fluid emotion with its glossy vocal delivery riding over its kicking percussion. Speaking about the track and how he found his vibe, Gassi describes the moment when he first heard the demo that sparked his track:

“I usually write my own songs but I received this demo and instantly wanted to record it. My music has been called "feel good gangsta” - I love that description and think that ’Lost’ really embodies that vibe.”
