i figured out what it is that pisses me off the most about the big bang theory
its that mentality that no matter how intelligent and valuable to the progress of humanity you are, ultimately what defines you in society is your social skills and your looks
and they take those characters who are superior to the viewer in a ton of aspects and should be admired for that
and the goal of the show should be to make the viewer understand that these people exist and should be accepted and respected for everything they are
but instead the show makes a point of picking out their problem with social skills compatible with those of people with different interests (aka the shows main fanbase) and ridicules them for it
and that serves literally no other purpose than to make the viewers who do not belong to this particular social group better about themselves because they are '''superior''' in that one aspect
instead of sending a message like "these people are not so different from you !! "
its main message is "these people are so different from you, trying to socialize with them is a lost cause dont even bother"
and seriously what the fuck thats the opposite of what you could have achieved
this shit youre producing only serves to reinforce the existing social segregation between those groups
