The cold seared her skin, thankful she'd remembered to put two layers on, earlier that morning. The streets, packed with Saturday shoppers, were bustling, all dashing in and out of shops in the hope of savouring the warmth. Kathryn, being British, had always favoured cooler weather, and thankfully the summer was behind them, she'd found herself here. And she wouldn't deny she didn't love it, as her hands stuffed deeper into her pockets. Gaby had only popped into the store to grab two hot steaming coffees when Kathryn's eyes narrowed.

"Nate, well, what d'ya know? Look what the cat dragged out." She teased.

Kathryn: Can you work this Friday? I have a new influx of books coming in, and I've gotta cover a shift else where. Kathryn: I'll pay you double :)))

Kathryn: We should talk. Kathryn: About the other day, but not at the store.

FOR: @gabyharrisonx WHEN: August 24' WHERE: Kathryn's Office.

"Y'know, I kept thinking about the fact that we might arrange a trip away, or something. I love this place, don't get me wrong," pushing through the door to her office, as she swept in as Kathryn always did. This place was her sanctuary. "But it's always nice to get away for a while..." eyes lifting from the files that she ushered into a folder that had sat atop her desk and locked in her top draw. Things that she didn't need to see — a taught smile on her lips as she gestures to the seat. "Actually, first, you want a coffee? Got this new machine, and it's beautiful — and it gives you six different types. The twenty-first century, for you."

"Sushi will be here in T-minus five minutes, and I am fuckin' Hank Marvin." Kathryn paused, squinting in the direction of where Gaby was sitting. "Please tell me you know what means and it's not just a very, very British thing to say?"
