Eid e Ghadeer Mubarak!
18th Dhul-Hijjah – The Day of Wilayah🤍
Today marks the historic event of Ghadeer-e-Khum, where the Holy Prophet ﷺ declared:
ﻣَـــﻦ ﮐُﻨــــﺖُ ﻣَـــﻮﻻﻩُ ﻓَﻬــــﺬﺍ ﻋَﻠـــﯽؑ ﻣَـــﻮﻻﻩُ
“Whomsoever I am the Mawla (leader), Ali۴ is also his Mawla”
It was on this day that Imam Ali۴ was appointed as the first Imam the spiritual and political successor of the Prophet ﷺ
And it was on this very occasion that Allah revealed:
"This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen Islam as your religion"
(Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:3)
Because Ali۴ is not just a name

Reached Koh-e-Toor, and became Noor
جو کوہِ طور پر پہنچا تو نور بنا
Stood on Koh-e-Abu Qubais, and became a healer
کوهِ ابو قبیس پر پہنچا تو مسیحا بنا
Appeared at Koh-e-Zaitoon, and became a miracle
کوهِ زیتون پر پہنچا تو معجزہ بنا
Rose to Arsh-e-Munir, and became the one preferred above all
یہ وہی علیؑ ہے جو عرشِ منیر پر پہنچا تو اَولا بنا
And when he stood upon the Mimbar of Ghadeer, he was declared the Mawla
منبرِ غدیر پر پہنچا تو مولا بنا
