Did you hear about the magical place called __?

So as I mentioned before, Kenny, the protagonist of Lucidity, has the ability to travel to another world in her dreams.

This world is collectively called Gaera; it’s a vast land filled with mountains, forests, oceans, and deserts. It’s populated mostly by the Fairies (along with Pixies, Brownies, Elves, Gnomes, Goblins, Dwarves, etcetera).

There are humans in Gaera, too—or they’re mostly human, at any rate. Back in the days of old, when the creatures of Gaera were first moving from our world to the new one, they brought their Halfbloods (children they’d had with humans) and their Bonded (the human children they either stole or received as offerings) with them. Most of the Halfbloods and Bonded eventually gained their freedom, one way or another, and set up their own countries and kingdoms much like the humans back home did.

These humans aren’t completely human; since a good half of them have at least some fairy / other ancestry, they have access to magicks and other supernatural abilities that their ancestors didn’t have.

These days there’s been talk of the creatures moving again, leaving the land for the humans-who-are-not-completely-human.
