Spring frog
More flowers!
Gagea lutea which in English is apparently known as the yellow star-of-Bethlehem… which is much fancier than what we swedes call it Vårlök which translates to spring onion. Grimsta, Sweden.
Bővebben a templomról: 1, 2. i’ve posted about the cemetery of szent józsef church previously (it’s under reconstruction now), today i went to look for crocuses but found a lot of yellow star-of-betlehem instead. very tender, early spring bulbous plant native to much of europe, but not well known. i haven’t seen it in gardens before, although it would make a great addition, in large numbers, when the ground is just turning green, her star shaped flowers shine brilliantly.
