Mackenzie Accuses John.

Will Mackenzie put Anthony's killers in danger.

Mackenzie made his way to the Woolpack.

"No kiddies today?" asked Gail.

"No I'm here to see Chas. Kerry is looking after the kiddies" said Mack as Chas came into the bar.

"You wanted to see me?" she said pouring a glass of wine.

"Is it true they've arrested Ella?" Mack asked.

"Yes she admitted she'd spiked me" said Chas. "Thank your lucky stars your kiddies are no longer in danger coz she's behind bars where she belongs"

"They never were in any danger from her" said Mack "I don't believe she'd do them any harm"

"She threatened Liam with a knife Mack and she pushed him and he sustained a head injury. So what part of guilty and dangerous don't you understand" said Chas.

"She's not guilty and if I were you I'd look closer to home for the culprit" said Mack giving John a sly look who was sitting with Aaron.

"Are you referring to me?" said John who got up and approched Mack.

"I don't want any trouble" said Chas.

"Accept my apologies" John said to Chas as he punched Mack in the face sending him sprawling across the floor.

"What the hell are you doing?" said Aaron going over to help Mack up.

"I'm sick of him having digs at me" said John "You need to tell him now that you're never going back to him and we're getting married"

"Aaron loves me" said Mack "Hes only with you coz he's keeping your secrets"

"Ooh what secrets might they be?" asked Mandy who was helping out behind the bar.

"Take that back" said John pushing Mackenzie "The only one with secrets are you and Ella"

"This gets better and better" said Mandy.

"There are no secrets Mandy" said Chas "And Mack I need to see you in the back room"

"What exactly have you got against John?" asked Chas as they went into the back room. "You need to keep your feelings under control Mack for all our sakes"

"It's true about Aaron Chas he's only with John to keep him sweet about the Anthony thing" Mack explained.

"And where did you get that idea from?" asked Chas.

"Aaron and me have been meeting up every day at the allotment. It's me he loves Chas" said Mack.

"Are you two off your heads?" said Chas grabbing her head in her hands in despair "If John finds out he could do anything"

"Yes like cover his ass and drop us all in it" said Mack "Can't you see him for what he is. I think it's him who's been targeting you"

"Well I'm not over keen on him but Aaron loves him" said Chas.

"He doesn't though Chas" Mack pleaded.

"I've had enough of this" said Chas "I still think it's Ella Mack. You need to cool it and stop seeing Aaron"

"I can't" said Mack "He means everything to me"

"Well I'm having a word with Aaron coz the two of you are playing with fire and John's not best pleased with you accusing him of stuff. You need to calm down and look after all those kiddies of yours. Do you want them to have a father in jail?"

"Of course not. But Im certain about John" said Mack.

"Please drop this now Mack" said Chas.

Chas Bans Anthony From The Woolpack.

"I think we need to go see Ella" said Mack "She must be feeling awful after that piece in the paper"

"Yes I was thinking the same Mack" said Gino.

Aaron looked after Isla while the two men went to see Ella.

"I'm so glad you came to see me" said Ella "I've just been sacked and I'm feeling so low. My whole life has imploded"

"Come here" said Mack holding his arms out for a hug.

"Thanks for sticking by me you two" said Ella as she put her arms around Mackenzie.

"We three go way back" said Gino "We'll always stick by you".

"There's always a job for you at my bar now Amelia has gone" said Mack.

"Sounds great. I need the money" said Ella.

"Come to lunch with me and Gino and you can go through the job specs with us" said Mack.

The two men and Ella made their way to the Woolpack where they saw Meena sitting with Anthony.

"What the hell is she doing with him" Mack said "There's something creepy about him"

"Yes he's always hanging around" said Ella.

"Mack went up to order when Meena called him over "I hope you aren't having carnals with that child killer" said Meena.

"Don't start Meena" said Mack "Ella and I go way back and unlike you she's served her time"

"How many times" said Meena loudly "What happened to me was the biggest case of injustice this country has seen since that creep from 10 Rillington Place let an innocent man swing"

"In your dreams" said Ella who was livid that Meena was walking free. "I only killed once"

"Well little April's missing" said Meena "And you're the only child killer in the village"

"You'll regret saying that" Ella shouted taking a swing at Meena.

"Are you just going to stand there and watch this child killing tramp hurt me" Meena yelled at Mack.

"Can you stop this now" said Chas "You're putting the punters off"

Meena went back to her seat next to Anthony when Meena let out a scream "You dirty Perv" she shouted at Anthony "He put his hand up my skirt"

"That's a lie" said Anthony. "I was trying to comfort you"

"Trying to comfort me? I've heard that one before when the prison guards were queuing up to shag me after Mackenzie forbid me to see our love child" said Meena.

"I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing" said Anthony.

"Well whatever it was it was wet and slimey" said Meena slapping Anthony.

"Just get out you paedo" shouted Chas "And don't come back"

"Why is he a paedo?" asked Mack "Meena's a grown woman"

"Yes a woman who has been assaulted so I'll be suing the pub for compensation" Meena chimed in. "And taking it to the newspapers"

"Well that's the best I've heard yet" said Chas. "Just lock up your daughters when he's around and as for you Jutla you're not getting a penny"

"Do you know something about slimey Anthony that we don't. If so you need to dish the dirt on that old pervert" said Meena "Does Ruby know what a disgusting old man he is. Well I'll tell you this if he comes near me again I'll do him in"

"You need to watch what your saying" said Ella "That's how rumours start"

"Well what he just did to Meena wasn't a rumour" said Chas.

"It sure wasn't" said Meena "Just wait til I get back to the B&B and talk to Ruby. Maybe you're innocent after all Ella. Maybe he's got April hidden away somewhere"

"Don't be daft" said Gail.

"Who are you calling daft" said Meena "One village idiot is enough"

"And who might that be" asked Gail.

"Mackenzie of course" Meena replied.

"Are you going to stand there and let her insult you?" said Gino.

"Yes" Mack replied looking at Gino roll his eyes.

"Hey have you got a twin sister?" Noah asked Meena as he was coming into the pub to fix the glass washer that Gail had broken for the third time this week.

"What makes you say that?" asked Chas.

"Well I swear I just saw her outside the B&B just now" said Noah.

"Heaven forbid" said Mack.

"And I just saw that creepy Anthony zipping his trousers up behind the pub" Noah added.

"Just leave that perv to me" said Chas.

"Do you really know something about him we don't?" Mack asked Chas.

"Well we all know he's a groper" said Meena.

"Oh I feel quite sick" said Gail.

"What now?" asked Chas.

"When I came out of the ladies he squeezed past me and his hands were everywhere" said Gail.

"Why didn't you slap him?" asked Meena

"Well he's a customer" Gail replied. "And I thought coz he's old he didn't realise what he was doing"

"He knew what he was doing alright Gail" said Chas.

"He needs a good kick in the crotch" said Gail "I'll be ready for him next time"

"There won't be a next time" said Chas "Cain and Caleb will sort him out"

Business Is Booming At Macks Bar but The Woolpack Is Struggling For Customers.

"If you're going to sit there with a long face just get round the back coz you're putting the punters off" said Chas.

"What punters? They're all downstairs in Macks bar trying to rip Gino's clothes off" Aaron answered.

"Why the long face?" asked Chas.

"Coz I asked Mack if I could have Isla over Christmas but he flatly refused" said Aaron.

"I wish you two would just stop having a go at each other. Just get on with your life" said Chas "You're with John now"

"That's where you're wrong" said Aaron "That ship has sailed"

"Not another failed romance Aaron" said Marlon. "You and Mackenzie are competing for who can accumulate the most failed romances"

"What did you fall out over?" asked Chas.

"Mackenzie and Gino" said Aaron.

"Is that what Gail was on about" said Chas "You and Gino getting all sweaty together"

"It wasn't like that. He deliberately led me on and there was a bust up in the bar and John left" said Aaron.

"Just get yourself round to John right now and put things right" said Chas "It's Christmas and he can't spend it with misery guts Victoria"

"Ok if it stops you nagging I'll go find him" said Aaron.

Aaron made his way to John's camper van and knocked on the door.

"What do you want?" John asked angrily.

"You" said Aaron pushing John back into his camper van and onto the bed.

"Aaron's taking his time coming back" said Marlon "Three hours later and no Aaron and more importantly no punters"

"They're all downstairs" said Gail.

"There's a hen do on downstairs and Gino is the main attraction" said Gail "I went outside to see if I could attract some passing trade but all I could hear was the croud chanting Off. Off Off from downstairs.

"What do you mean you thought you could see if you could attract some passing trade" said Chas "We're not a knocking shop and Macks bar is where all the seedy fun and games go on"

"Well maybe we should get a male stripper and liven the place up" said Gail.

"You want to watch it lady making stupid suggestions. If you want excitement then apply for Amelia's job downstairs" said Chas.

"I might just do that" said Gail "Unless off course you could offer me a pay rise"

"We'll see" said Chas looking at her phone. "Aaron's just texted me. He's staying at John's tonight. He'll see me in the morning"

"Well thank God for that" said Marlon "Coz when he's got one on him he starts smashing things up and it too near Christmas to replace stuff"

"Replace stuff?" said Gail "Chance would be a fine thing. The only customer we've had today was Nicola wanting change for the cafe"

Kerry Shows Off and Charity is Livid.

"Did you sleep with Mackenzie last night Chloe" Kerry asked as Chloe came out of the downstairs bedroom.

"I came down for a drink and I heard him talking so I went in" said Chloe "He was having a nightmare"

"And?" asked Kerry.

"And what?" asked Chloe

"You know what madam" said Kerry.

"Well things got passionate" said Chloe.

"Are you and him a thing now then?" asked Kerry.

"Maybe. If Gino and Aaron are yesterdays news" replied Chloe.

"Don't forget Melanie's coming here tomorrow til after she has the babies" said Kerry "Then you'll be yesterdays news"

"Well I'm taking it day by day" said Chloe.

"Well when his majesty wakes up were going to put the Christmas tree and decorations up" said Kerry "We did the bar last night. It looks banging"

After Reuben and Isla had breakfast and the decorations were put up Mackenzie suggested they go to the Woolpack.

"I know why you're so keen to go to The Wooly" said Kerry "To get one over on Charity"

"You're a mind reader" laughed Mack "I bet she's seen the new Christmas menu. Tommy put it in the display cabinet outside the door of the bar"

"Bring it on" laughed Kerry "I can't wait to see her ugly mush"

"Now, now, she's not that bad" laughed Mack.

Kerry, Chloe, Mack and the children arrived at the Woolpack.

"Don't look now but your cheating husband is sitting in the corner with Dr. John and it looks like he's giving him mouth to mouth resuscitation" said Kerry.

"Shush mum, they'll hear you" said Chloe.

"Hey you" Charity called as she approached Mackenzie who was increasingly jealous of how close John and Aaron seemed "How come you are doing Christmas Dinner so cheap. I bet its all Aunt Bessie's finest"

"For your information it's all locally sourced produce from Moira's farm and my allotment" said Mackenzie. "Here's my chef Tommy now. Ask him Charity"

Tommy confirmed that he is using all organically produced ingredients.

"Bet it's only one course though" said Charity.

"No its three courses with Vegan and vegetarian options" said Tommy and we've had thirty bookings already for today and tomorrow.

"And tell her about the alternative menu Tommy" said Kerry gloating at Charity.

"Well we are offering British favourites as an alternative" said Tommy "Eight pounds a head. "Here have a look at the menu. We do Christmas dinner seven days a week and also an alternative Monday to Friday and weekends it's the festive menu again"

"Monday Bubble and squeek with home made sausages. Tuesday Chicken casserole. Wednesday Cottage Pie. Thursday steak and Chips or chicken curry and Friday Fish and chips" Charity read out. "We can't compete with this. Where's Marlon?"

"Well that's my meals sorted for the week" said Rodney who was listening to Charity reading Macks menu.

"And me" said Gail "I mean who could eat Christmas dinners every day until the big day"

"Haha" laughed Kerry reading Charity's new menu. "Its Christmas Dinner every day with no alternative"

"We offer sandwiches and soup as the alternative" said Charity.

"A bowl of soup and sandwiches at ten pound a go. I don't think so" laughed Kerry.

"And its powdered soup as well" said Gail.

"If you don't want to be homeless at Christmas then shut it" Charity yelled at Gail.

"I was only saying" said Gail.

"That menu of Macks sounds good" John said to Aaron. "We should try it"

"No way" said Aaron. "I wouldn't give him the satisfaction"

"Well I think Charity has made a big mistake with her menu" said John "She's seething"

"We are on Uber Eats as well" said Kerry "We do home deliveries all day up until 8pm"

"Do we?" said Mack.

"Yes me and Tommy organised it" said Kerry "The chefs from Robb Roy Castle are helping out. Would you like to see their menu Charity?"

Charity grabbed the menu off Kerry.

"Six course Christmas Dinner Eighty quid up until Christmas Eve" gasped Charity. "Who can afford that?" asked Charity. "And a hundred and twenty quid on Christmas Day"

"Well it is Haute Cuisine" said Kerry "Mack is treating all his staff and family to it on Christmas Day and we're booked in for three nights"

"And the Restaurant is all booked up until December 23rd" said Tommy. "I believe Kim Tate will be joining us on Christmas Day as well"

"Well I just knew she'd be in the mix" said Charity.

"She runs the Stables and stud farm" said Mack "She's my business partner after all"

"Oh I nearly forgot" said Tommy "Here is the alternative menu. Fifty quid per person for three courses. The Lobster starter is to die for. That new French Chef is fantastic and has been a great asset"

"I cant wait. Weve got free reign of all the facilities and the kiddies have got riding lessons on boxing day" said Chloe.

"Well we'll be off now" said Kerry "What flavour soup is it tomorrow Charity?" Kerry asked sarcastically.

"Just get out" said Charity who was absolutely enraged.
