Have you heard from GainsOfMythicality, Tabs? I miss them a lot 😔
No, I haven’t heard from them recently. We’ve lost touch. We had been FB friends, but they seem to have dropped off there too. I miss them too.

-----------
Honestly, there are so many!! Every one of you out here kicking ass inspire me every day. I see you conquering fears and lifting heavy shit, running further than you’ve ever run, making self-love a priority, making yourselves a priority, learning, growing, evolving into the best versions of yourselves. This is honestly the most inspirational community ever!
It’s hard to narrow this down, but below I’ve picked out a few people who have touched me deeply, but this is not, by any means, a full list of the people here who inspire me and who I consider friends:
@mybigfatfitlife - Harmony is one of the hardest working people I know, and despite all that she has going on she just keeps working to find the balance in her life between family, work, farming, and health. She’s a constant source of inspiration and a dear friend who I’m grateful for every day.
@fatmaninalittlesuit - John was probably one of the first people I followed who I felt like I could connect with on many levels. After reading his ‘about me’ page, I felt like he was a man of integrity and I was not wrong. His friendship and support mean so much to me, and his tenacity to find what will work for him in his quest for health and fitness is truly inspirational.
@fitnessgeekandcoffeefreak -- Cate is amazing. I want to be like her when I grow up. She works out HARD, she goes on amazing adventures, has an awesome garden, and makes the most amazing cakes I’ve ever seen! She’s also sweet and supportive of everyone and just a wonderful role-model for what you do when you get to your ‘goal’. You keep kicking ass!
@deartreadmill -- Jo has been through a lot and is still going through a lot, but she keeps going. Her sense of humor is one of the most amazing things about her, I think -- finding humor in some really bad situations. She’s also a mom, and the thing that drew me to her at first was her daughter’s struggles with running. I loved how supportive Jo is of her kids and how she encourages them to go after what they want and helps them improve in areas they are struggling.
@gainsofmythicality -- Tabs is another person who has been through hell and back, and is coming out the other side stronger than ever! He is so inspirational and also informative, and he’ll be cooking some of those amazing keto dishes for me one of these days! Tabs has big dreams, and I know he is gonna crush them!
Inspiration
I’m going to train for the CrossFit open. Next January will mark my one year anniversary as a Crossfitter and a vegetarian. Inspired by Tabs post on they’re future fitness goles im thinking about tackeling this coming fall and winter with the mindset that i will be competing in the 2017 CrossFit open. I will probably need to do the scaled version but thats okey for a newbie. To meet this goal I have 3 main focus points for the next few weeks : Go to the box Cuting out sweets for the most part No drinking after this coming weekend
Anyone feel like being an accountability buddy for a lazy Crossfitter?
Im a bad fitblr-but im back
So I didn’t really stick to my goal of reporting my workouts here. I did well for a while, even going before work. Then my training partner went to Sri Lanka for a 6 week voluntary work program and I did not show up at my box for a little more than 2 weeks. But yesterday I got of my lazy ass and walked to the box and did this lovely three part workout: Part 1- 3min AMRAP Part 2- 6 min AMRAP Part 3- 12 min time cap. All the parts involved the fallowing moves: 12- russian ketlle bell swings at 12 kg 18- wall balls (6 lbs) 12 v-ups (i did regular sit ups) 18- box jumps (30 cm box) 12- alt. Kb’ snatch at 12 kg ( I did 8 kg) 18- cal Row. In the first round i managed to start the box jumps, the second round I finished everything but the rowing and the last round I finished the workout in 8 mins and 17 sec. Today my everything is sore so i think i will rest up and try to go before work on Monday next.

WOD
Hey there. In attempt to be more active on here I’m going to post the WODs I do at my CrossFit box every time I go. My box offers three versions of the same workout for us to pick depending on our fitness level, I usually pick scaled 2 (Sc2) which is the easiest one, and sometimes I need to scale them even more. So here is the first one:
Time cap 24 min. My time 24:15 (1 extra sec for every 10m left at the end of time cap)
32 box jumps
32 kettle bell swings- 8 kg
300 m run
19 holo rocks (v-ups prescribed)
19 Goblet squat (8 kg bell)
13 holo rock
13 Goblet squat
300 m run
16 alt. Kb snatch 8 kg bell
16 holo rocks (knee raises prescribed)
10 alt. Kb snatch 8 kg bell
10 holo rocks (knee raises prescribed)
6 alt. Kb snatch 8 kg bell
6 holo rocks (knee raises prescribed)
300m run
The workout was hard, but the day was beautiful and that made the running part much more enjoyable and me and my training partner went to a nice pool to soak in the hot tub afterwards.
