Why not a Porcelain based around Kintsugi (or any alternative that can be found here) or even Yobitsugi (kintsugi, but with shards from completely different sources, like a patchwork !) ?

Went with Yobitsugi because the previous one was Kintsugi. She should be a cluster but I got lazy

While looking around for the mineral Arsenic (and some infos I wanted to learn about it, especially for a friend that'll use your Arsenic design for its own thing, but let's get to the point), I saw her group is way larger than I thought ! And with what I saw on Toyhouse, I must ask ... will you do all 6 elements of the nitrogen group/Pnictogens, or will you just restain yourself to those you already did, being Bismuth and Arsenic ?

I would appreciate if they didnt use my design but rather the concept. You know, same gem type but different clothes, hairstyle and palette.

Only arsenic, bismuth, antimony and stibarsen have a gemstone so i am not gonna bother lmao

So ... from what I understood (and found while searching around) from the mega post you ... well, posted : Maghemites would be a natural fusion, à la Ametrine, right ?

Maghemite is a mineral dimorph of an Hematite, but its structure is an oxidation of Spinels who contain Iron, a Magnetite. AKA "This rock is Hematite but inside is Magnetite, wich makes it a Spinel, fuck you"

(For reference, Spinel has a Supergroup. Don't bother looking up how many gems there are).

I don't think its really a natural fusion since two gemstones arent "glued" together and its more of its structure than anything. I think they would be their own gem?

I looked (mostly) at the Hematites and saw quite a few cuties for sure ! Tho, I'd like to know, because she definitely looks way too different compared to the others : what is/are the specific(s) of being an Iron Rose ? Does she … do her job better ? Is she just a Sapph/Pad moment ? Maybe a more aristocratic version ? What about something that I might work on sooner than later : the natural fusion, Maghemite. Having the same structure as an Hematite, does that mean she would be one, and would she … attract heat towards her instead of netralizing it ? Finally, don't force yourself of doing a wiki page for one group per week. Take it slowly. What you did is already so much

They look different because I thought it was cute to make them more similar to their gemstone instead of other Hematites. That was the whole thought process lol. I can def see them being rarer than other Hematites!

Sorry I haven't answered that ask yet. I don't think they would work the same? My totally not overused example, ruby and sapphire, are same gem different colours but work differently (the canon show doesnt take gems structure very serious).

My issue with wikis isnt the writting. I mean once you ignore the whole english not main language barrier, and slight code that wants you to suffer, its not that hard. The real issue is having to draw multiple gems as examples. Thay also means redrawing gems im no longer happy with their design. Its the kind of thing that slowly drains your sanity and makes you question your life choices but when finished, it feels VERY satisfying and rewarding!

Just checked the Quartz Megapost out (ye, after some days, my bad-) and it seems pretty good to me ! I didn't read EVERYTHING, so I can't give you a perfect re-reding, but I saw some forgotten letters here and there (mostly on the word 'quartz', but you wrote it so much it's only understandable) I also like how all tabs features all types of quartzes from each categories in the pic header, then you have the administrative-oriented tab, with only one Agate haha. T'was just fun to see :) I also expect to have many, MANY more types of qurtzes you couldn't add because it'd have been too long, but here's questions about it : from all Chalcedony-related gems I know, only Heliotrope/Bloodstone seems missing. Does that mean this type of gem is somewhere else ? A special kind of Administrator/Soldier maybe ? Also, I wonder if you consider the Chalcedony sketches as canon for their look in that megapost or not. Because they look more knight-like than admin-like tbh. Maybe guards given specifically for the latter, which would explain where Heliotrope would be ... hm

You don't have to read it at all once in one moment! I'm satisfied with people just taking a look at it, it means a lot. I would have liked to add more quartzes but its like. Its a different colour. Or it has a pattern with a colour. And I think i already showed how patterns and colours worked with Prasiolites, Amethysts and Sardonyxes. People are still welcome to ask for any type of Quartz tho

Reason the admin has a lone gem is out of pure lazyness BUT all agate variants come from Chalcedony so it just would be different colored Chalcedonies. I also thought it was fitting to show that agates are different than other quartzes, with them being their superior and only being one for quartz groups.

I have read that Bloodstone is a Jasper, so she's with the Jaspers. She's there, trust me!

I made a Homeworld variant of that gem for fun. I dont consider concept art canon (sometimes), I assume they would change the name to another gem just like they did with Bixbite (they were originally named Aventurine, a type of Quartz, so it didn't fit).

Oh, questions about Tears ? Well, I technically have one yea ...

What'd be their summoned power ? (either elemental like Lapis or a weapon like most of the gems) Maybe also ask if they have powers other gems doesn't (like a sharp eye, for being astrologists, some sort of Cosmic Energy Manipulation ... stuff like that, y'know ?). Just to see if they can defend themselves, and if they can : how.

Like, their corrupted forms having scythes as hands, maybe it's something like Bixbites, and she (might, we never really knew) swap her hand for a scythe for assisting purposes ...

It's quite the long ask tbh, but everything is somewhat linked, so making several asks would've been a bit much

They were not made for combat, lemme copy paste myself "Because of their high rank status, Tears tend to have guards assiged to ensure their safety, simce they were not made for combat". I wanted to go a "Cooler Sapphire" route. Taller, fancier (Sapphire is nobility, tear is nobility) and high rank gems had guards (Sapphire with Rubies, Emerald had Citrines)

Here's Swamp showing a crystal tiara for decoration because she can. Like if you wanna make em summon their powers for fashion that's literally cannon. I have to redraw her weapon too, but think of low-poly PS1 models (or not, lol).

A past power I didn't include was crystal wings because I'm figuring out a base look for how should they be like. Anyone can take these powers and go "Well that's boring I'm making them be able to insert thing here" and I'm fine with that, just for reference-

I like the idea of Cosmic Energy Manipulation but I have an issue of being situational? Would it happen only in space? In moons/planets where there is no atmosphere? Would it create dust storms, light distortions (and being able to heavily harm a gem that way since they're made of light) ur other thing? I mean that sounds powerful so being situational (like the Lapis water manipulation) sounds fair haha. Can I steal that?

For the corrupted form, I'm not sure. I have to redraw it a bit, but specifically the uncorrupted form. They won't change much I'm sure of that part.
