I don't have full details yet cause I'm in the middle of a rewatch and I'm nervous about actually digging more into this au openly then just in my head.

But my continuation/AU for Ben 10 is "Ben 10 Galactic Crisis" and basically is the world that has my overhaul of Piscciss, all my OCs in it, and the villain arcs that come with many of them including Secale, and Ephemeris. I also wanted to take a shot at The Plumbers going full bad guys taking place After Secale's rise to and fall from power.

I think I should probably type up a timeline to get all my thoughts sorted cause there's stuff between the main arcs that's necessary for the ending with Ephemeris being defeated, including introducing Spark to the story, and starting Malware's recovery (which I barely know where to start with but I do know where I want it to go)

I dunno I've been itching to talk about this AU for ages but never had a way to refer to it/tag it, and I'm so 😬 about my own writing

Design of Eunice for my AU, definently leaned more into her looking artificial, and wanted to less fugly outfit for her (no offense b10 character designers but maybe learn how to style your characters, especially the girls)

bonus: Malware and Eunice develop a sibling bond, and eunice says something meaningful

im working on doing a fullbody ref of this design for him + I finally thought of a name for my AU/continuation

the only reason i keep thinking about Ship's development in terms of human development is cause i don't wanna deal with Dungeon Meshi age discourse

especially cause mechamorphs are functionally immortal as far we know and ship is the closest thing to a juvenile we have in canon.

I know they're machines so maybe they develop faster then humans, but we also know from Baz-l and Malware that they basically have human intelligence regardless of age (assuming baz-l was born like most other mechamorphs its safe to say hes either older then or the same age as Malware, and Malware is most likely a bit older then 1k y/o)

so i have trouble thinking of them in the terms of true ai development (which theoretically can experience some form of time dilation and gain knowledge faster then a human over a shorter amount of time)

i also need to factor in how i head canon nanite replication in regards to growth because the nanites are basically just cells to me(so with ship while growing hes replicating more nanites then whats dying off and by the time he reaches a physical maturity his nanites will have an equilibrium of natural replication (as in no forced replication from shapeshifting) and death. i actually HC that part of Malware's condition has to do with that balance being very broken and sometimes inconsistent for him but that's a discussion for later)

so another question is how fast would THIS process be in regards to physical growth and how does nanite replication/death also effect psychological development
