Fantastic Man - Galactic Ecstasy
It’s difficult to choose a single most-outstanding track from this overall real fantastic (ha) EP. But “Galactic Ecstasy” is probably the one which mood appeals most to me. A good soundtrack for nightly car rides and rainy evenings. It is somehow reserved, the whole track taking itself back behind the bubble it creates. And the walls of the bubble are quite thick: There are loads of different pads, delicate, space-y melodies and a self-reflecting acid line which create a whole different, set-apart space. To not let it flow too smoothly, the percussion coming in shortly after the middle breaks the bubble. Only to then celebrate the unification of both.
