After coming through the Emperor’s Rift, in 7ABY Hux plots with Aiya Ren to bring Ben Solo back to the First Order, seeks funding from wealthy socialite Stassam Char, and attempts to undermine his father Brendol by leaking First Order intel to rebel Iden Versio.
Hux attends the New Republic fundraiser on Iziz to gather intel. He is drugged by Seventh Sister, has a humiliating encounter with Aiya Ren, and connects with broadcaster Alton Kastle (both professionally and otherwise).
Hux, Aiya Ren, and Seventh Sister kidnap and torture Senator Padmé Amidala. Devices of Hux’s design will now kill Amidala if any of the three of them die. They successfully lure Kylo Ren back to the dark side.
Hux provides Alton Kastle with exclusive footage of Padmé Amidala being tortured by an off-screen, unidentified force user, to be broadcast with anti-New Republic spin.
When Sernpidal is destroyed, Hux reluctantly travels with Kylo Ren to investigate the ruined planet. They find no answers.
Several rebels blackmail Hux. Sabine Wren uncovers Hux’s affair with Alton Kastle, and Poe Dameron uses Hux’s future betrayal of the First Order to get information about Finn, who at this time remains in the First Order.
Impersonating Brendol, Hux contacts Alexsandr Kallus and claims he wants to spy for the Resistance to undermine Rae Sloane.
His working relationship with Aiya having soured, Hux plots with Kylo to murder them. He amplifies his own transmitter to Amidala’s kill switch so that she won’t die when Aiya does. They succeed. Aiya dies.
At the Hapan Life Day gala, Hux unexpectedly meets Grand Admiral Rae Sloane and states his intent to usurp Brendol. When alien invaders attack, he must ally with former enemies Sabine Wren, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Poe Dameron to escape. He loses his left leg.
Hux continues to visit Alton Kastle and (despite his best efforts) seems to develop some kind of... feelings? Ew.
The Yuuzhan Vong declaration of war and live broadcast of Alton’s painful death sends Hux into a fury.

as previewed in a discussion on discord, we will be revamping the style in which we utilize the timeline in order to make it easy for new members to jump into galacticshq ! having been open for over a year and a half, we’re constantly working to adapt & we don’t want it to be difficult or intimidating for new members. based on everyone’s feedback, the timeline will be refreshed by us to reflect the following changes.
the timeline will be cut down to include all major plot arcs. this includes items like events, mini-plots, & other things that would affect multiple characters in play. examples include character deaths, major ‘approved’ plots ( i.e. padmé’s kidnapping, the formation of a new jedi council, finding major artifacts, the darksaber being handed over to jango, etc. ). the admins will update the rp's timeline as needed.
every three months, we will ask everyone to do a character update post ( tagged galactics.cupdate ). this post will summarize what your character has doing in-game for the last few months, & includes events that are significant to them but do not influence the rp’s trajectory as a whole, such as meeting new muses, developing relationships, & how they are reacting to the plot as a whole. see an example here.
character updates do not have a required length or level of detail necessary. it can be brief bullet points, or longer summaries. because it’s been about 9 months since we’ve had anything similar to this, we anticipate these first ones will be the longest with them being shorter / easier in the future. these will be checked on activity one week after they are requested. which means next sunday, feb. 13th, we will check for them as one of the two activity posts that week. if you are on hiatus, we will not check for yours to be done until a week after you return. if you picked up a muse less than a month before character updates are required, writing one up is optional.

coming back during the last two months, ezra’s leapt right back into the order as much as he can
given he only had kanan and ahsoka when it came to jedi to learn from - and as grateful as he is for their teachings - ezra’s been trying to learn from and interact with as many jedi as he can while also doing his duty to the new republic, easing back into that life of both a soldier and a jedi as he had before
the attack at the consortium had him shaken to say the least, he doesn’t like not being able to feel them in the force - but fortunately all of his solider training with the rebellion and rex prepared him pretty well, so he managed to hold his own and is now working on strengthening and sharpening those skills
he’s relieved beyond words to have kanan around as well as the rest of the ghost crew - but he can’t deny he’s nervous the past few years in wild space is going to catch up to him at some point as more and more of the galaxy begins to get explored
most of his time is split between protecting the jedi order, and working with the new republic army, like always

* once Bly has been hunted down by Cody, their brother ensures that their chip is taken out, despite Bly having broken through it.
* Goes with Cody to join him on Yavin IV, not having anywhere else to go.

new saber in hand , she creates a new career for herself , avoiding joining the new jedi order & becoming a bounty hunter & bodyguard for hire , working in the galactic underworld with little hand in the overarching conflict between republic & empire.
attending the event on hapes at the side of a crime lord , she uses it as an excuse to steal the crown jewels , encountering & working alongside the chiss inquisitor third sister.
also at hapes , she has a drink with lando calrissian - a contact from his days working as a smuggler - and once again meets darth maul , who had killed her over twenty years before.
she also encounters & has lunch with kylo ren , unknowing of his identity , and quickly warming to the sith lord as a friend & benefactor.

anakin finally comes back to new republic airspace after being in wildspace and hutt space primarily for years, encountering ahsoka tano who tells him of padme being hurt before withdrawing to naboo.
anakin tries to go to naboo but meets with his old master obiwan kenobi where they have a gut-wrenching emotional discussion where they being to finally mend the gap between them.
leaving obiwan anakin once more, anakin skywalkers ship breaks and he pulls into port on hosnian prime for repairs where he runs into ahsoka tano his former padawan. realizing his ship is in fact beyond repair he steals a hunk of junk transport ship while running into mara jade.
the night of the ball on hapes anakin reunites with padme amidala once more for a light conversation in the gardens that quickly turned steamier than expected much to his joy. however that was quickly ruined once the place was attacked and anakin encountered a heavily injured han solo who he helped to patch up and escape.
while escaping the planet he realized the attack had damaged his ship and enlisted evaan verlaine to help in order to help her get off the planet side.

after awakening on dathomir , ventress returns to pantora - the place where she met quinlan vos. while she does not reunite with that jedi , she reunites with another familiar face - jedi master obi wan kenobi , to whom she reveals the truth of her demise & the council's plan to assassinate count dooku.
at obi wan's encouragement , they make their way to coruscant , resuming bounty hunting & encountering a slew of familiar faces , including a dooku with no memory of her , & former padawan ahsoka tano.
feeling the call of the force pulling them towards the jedi temple , they reunite with quinlan vos in an emotional reunion ; after which the two remain close , in bond & location.
as such , she attends the event on hapes at quinlan's side , where she encounters senator padme amidala , once again fights along dooku , & steals a SITH SPELLBOOK , before escaping on her ship with only minor injuries.
they also meet one of the other FEW surviving nightsisters , zarafet / fee solvi , and begins to hope again of her people's survival & ability to rebuild.
as the comms across the galaxy begin to fail , ventress takes refuge in the jedi temple on yavin four at obi-wan's insistence , holding no allegiance to the organization , but loyalty to few of it's members , including quinlan , ahsoka , & obi-wan.

after arriving in the new time in 6 aby, vaner quickly established themselves once again politically, first serving as an advisor and then senator of coruscant when an election occurred.
in his first months as senator for the new republic, he helped pass a bill that granted citizenship to all displaced by the rift, including clones - who had not been given such in their time.
in this time, they also reunited with their mother, bastila shan & adoptive uncle, canderous ordo; he also met meetra surik for the first time, after years of hearing stories of her.
in the aftermath of sernpidal, he worked with a group of senators, including padme amidala, to find lodging & resources for refugees of the disaster.
having attended the new years gala on hapes as a representative of the new republic, they escaped with the help of canderous ordo after defending several other senators from the attack.
after hapes and during the comms crisis, they worked with fellow senator tevus danohi to come up with longer-lasting solutions & alliances against the yuuzhan vong & the empire's remnant. during this time, they also discussed the terms of a deal with corporate sector authority representative vantir cessin.
