Coruscant
I think out of all the planets in the Star Wars galaxy, Coruscant will always be my favorite. I was born in 1999, so the films that I first saw that got me into Star Wars was the Prequel Trilogy. And while they receive a lot of hate, I think the movies are perfect. It had to have done something right for me to understand what Star Wars was all about, including the politics side of it. In fact, I actually found that bit to be the most interesting part of the movies.
But yes, I love Coruscant. I love how the entire planet is one endless city. I love how the buildings touch the sky and how beautiful and blue it looks at nighttime. I love all the different types of people that we see walking the streets.
I always picture myself living here whenever I imagine my life in Star Wars. I always picture myself as a mother standing out on the balcony with my child and my Mandalorian husband by my side. We would have gone to the planet to escape all the war and fighting back on our homeworld of Mandalore.
If this place was real, I’d never stop looking out into the city at night. It’s just so peaceful and calming.
I love Coruscant so much. It’s a home away from home in my head.
*Also in legends it is told that Coruscant was the original homeworld to the Mandalorian alien species, but they were driven off by humans in a war for dominance*
