      There was an unfamiliar anxiety poking Yoosung in the back of his mind as he stared at the phone resting face down on his desk, unable to focus on the lecture happening a few rows in front of him. His leg was bouncing excitedly in place, wondering if he should follow through with logging into the messenger. He was just so curious, and there weren’t many reasons not to.

      Discretely he navigated to the app and punched in his credentials, impatient with the few seconds it took for his request to pend. With little hesitation, Yoosung tapped to see who might be active in the chatroom and was overjoyed to see Maika’s name. 

Yoosung★: hi MC~! Yoosung★: it’s good to see you here. i was hoping to catch u! Yoosung★: class is SUPER boring right now and i was wondering what u were up to^^

      It hadn’t been long since Maika had mysteriously entered the messenger, and ever since Yoosung’s mind has been pacing back and forth with curiosity towards their new member. He couldn’t help wanting to know more about her, and he found a lot of excitement in seeing her pop up in their private group chats. They’ve talked here and there and she was always so nice, but there was still so much he felt he didn’t know. He hoped she wasn’t too busy to respond.

“If I wasn’t there?” He tapped the side of his glass as he tried to think on how to answer. This entire set up was annoying him but that wasn’t Mai’s fault and though he was still, for the most part, upset about their arranged marriage, he’d come to actually begin to enjoy their meetups - even if they were as heavily monitored as they seemed to always be. “If you got hurt because I wasn’t around to keep you safe - I would find the people who dared to lay a finger on you and make them wish that they had never been born”. He spoke with a soft smile, picking up his glass and taking a sip of his beloved soda. Maybe he was being a little on the sinister side but he meant it. Mai had now entered under his protection. Mai and Saeran. He’d protect them, no matter what the cost to himself...

With a playful little smirk to the corner of his lips, he removed his hand from around her wrists to circle instead around her waist, pulling her close against his own heated body as he worked on deepening the kiss that he was sharing with this girl who was to become his wife. Well, the others could look at them growing closer and seeing it as them having won but honestly he didn’t care. He was going to protect her and Saeran. He was going to make all this better, no matter the personal cost to himself.  And if he was a little selfish from time to time, well who could blame him?  Pulling back, he smiled down at the woman he held in his arms, a hand moving up to slowly run fingers through her hair, his eyes full of nothing but warmth and care for the girl he was to soon marry.  “So? Is that a yes? Do you want me to show you just how bad I can be”, he paused and leaned in to nip gently at the top of her ear, “Or are you wishing to save such things for after our wedding day?”

It was a strange thing, that had occured to them. One, even Sehun wouldn’t have thought as possible. Actually… did this even still count? The sight, of a mistletoe on a warm April day?

The blond had thought, he had banished every one of those from the dorm. Else he surely wouldn’t have invited Mai here. Talking with her about an upcoming shooting they had together. In all honesty - the blond was nervous. Never before his agency had used him as model. It was something, he just had found out recently… and it probably was pretty much luck, that it was with someone he knew already.

Sehun cleared his throat. Amber eyes staring into hers.
