Galactron had a point.
Galactron is my favorite kaiju in this series; it feels like a real threat, fits well with the central theme of light in darkness and gave Orb one of the most brutal defeats an Ultra has ever suffered.

the concept of Galactron is probably one of the most fucked up kaiju concepts and one of the few newer ultraman kaiju that I actually like
the concept of a machine that captures individuals to hijacks their voice to use as a translator to tell the world "HEY, YOURE FUCKED :)" as it fully plans to wipe out life on earth is fucking terrifying and I love it

this is one of two works i did for the toku femslash exchange, for @baradhiblue! it features yuka finally living her romancing a kaiju dreams, and a certain kaiju with a duty and no interests. here's a tiny bit of it:
“I have no name assigned to me by my creators,” the kaiju begins, serenely, “Most are too terrified to give me a name, but some choose to call me ‘Galactron,’ a portmanteau of ‘Galaxy Dragon’ and ‘Salvatron’.”
In the midst of the awe foaming around Yuka's brain, an unsettling thought surfaces higher than the rest: the voice is familiar, too familiar, almost as if it’s her own — and oh. Oh, it is, isn’t it? Such advanced technology, capable of committing voice mimicry of such a precise degree, it compels her to tear everything apart and fix it herself again, just to figure out the mechanics, and is a heat pack to her cheeks.
She lets out a squeal. Galactron-chan isn’t an Earthling, anyway, so it’s likely she wouldn’t know what the motive behind such a response could mean.
Guess I might as well ask: Favorite Ultra Kaiju?
