Her studies had taken up so much time that Florie never realized how pretty Hammerlocke was. Of course she knew about a few places she passed on her way to the Wild Area, but those weren’t terribly interesting—her hotel, the train station, and a small cafe she liked to visit sometimes. Oh, and there was that big castle/gym thing, but she associated that with very noisy fans, and she didn’t feel like getting involved in that anytime soon.
She’d heard about the vault from people in the hotel lobby—who were way better sources of information than the official channels—and today she had a day off to visit it. Heading to the other end of the town was easy enough, but now that she stood in the vault’s entrance area, she didn’t quite know what to do here. There were a few other people around, but no one really looked like their job was to help a dumb confused tourist not embarrass herself.
Which, of course, she probably did when she spotted a guy that looked incredibly familiar and just...looked at him. Because being Florie, she had no clue how to react to running into super popular people.
