You have no idea how difficult it was to translate Galatea's design into a human being.

I matched the values exactly except for the undercut, but overall I think she turned out alright. You can tell it's her, I think, which is what I hope.

Galatea and Penelope both belong to @inkyblinkyarts!!

I drew Galatea as a bird during ELA class, so I had to do the same on my computer and post it to Tumblr (I procrastinated posting this for SO LONG). I drew her as a bird at first because I'm terrible at drawing people...

While I was in class, I also had no reference! So I drew her completely from memory, which made a Galatea-bird design that I'm mildly dissatisfied with... Maybe I'll draw bird-Galatea again (But better)

HEADCANON: Galatea vaguely takes the form of those who summons her. The reason she's humanoid is because a human, Penelope, summoned her. Why does she look like her summoner? Well, the summoner must forfeit some of their own energy for the ritual (I'm making shit up, let me cook), which alters her appearance!!!

And so, according to my headcanon, if Penelope was a bird, Galatea would also look (somewhat) like a bird!

And so, the existence of a Galatea-bird meant that I had to make a Penelope-bird to go with her... The thing is, I can't even draw Penelope as a human! How am I supposed to capture her bird essence? Penelope is harder to draw than Galatea!!

So uhh... Penelope bird does not resemble ACTUAL Penelope one bit. Maybe I'll make another post where I actually try to make a more Penelope looking Penelope-bird. (She's supposed to be a Nightingale btw) (I need to get better at drawing birds.... Sigh)
