From Island Getaway Thread Prompts. || (Umbrella) My muse’s umbrella is blown away by the wind, hitting your muse in the head!

Not wanting to make the woman feel as though she was blaming her, Eirika spoke softly. “Apologies, but is this umbrella yours? It seemed to come from around here.”

Ingrid was completely, utterly mortified. Never would she have ever imagined that an taking an umbrella to the beach would result in such an embarrassing situation. With the sun’s rays incessantly shining down the past few days, she had decided that bringing an umbrella along would be a good idea to keep cool while laying across the beach. However, just as she had settled down with her belongings, an unexpected wind stole the umbrella she had stuck in the sand, transforming it into a projectile. Worse yet, it had managed to actually strike someone before she could reclaim it from the wind’s grasp. Now, that very someone stood before her, extending her hand to offer her back the now clearly mangled umbrella.

Drawing in an anxious breath, Ingrid brought her hands to her sides stiffly, clenching her fists tightly as she immediately bowed in apology. 

“I am so, so sorry!” She exclaimed, lifting her form once the words had left her lips, meeting the face of the stranger she had wronged, “the wind picked up so suddenly and next thing I knew, it was gone! I should have taken greater care in securing it.”

The planet that Hector had just landed on was blisteringly hot. He had just stepped foot out of his ship, the Ostian Obliterator, and was looking for a group of bandits that he had been hired to take care of and take back an item that they had stolen from the person who had hired him. He didn’t ask any questions whenever he was given a job. He needed the money and didn’t particularly care to hear about a conflict or anything else that the people who hired him wanted to talk about. He was more then content to be get his job and go, no questions asked.

He grabbed Armads, attached it to his back, before looking around and sighing to himself. The planet that he had grown up on was mountainous with cool temperatures most of the time, they never really had any days of intense sunlight or heat. He hoped that he was able to find these bandits quickly and get off this planet without having much difficulty. However, he knew that missions often didn’t go that smoothly and he would probably have to spend much more time here then he wanted to.

He looked at the location that he was given on his holographic map and started making his way there. Sweat started to collect on his forehead as he hastily wiped it away. “This is the only time that I wish I wasn’t wearing such heavy armor.” He muttered to himself as he pushed through some foliage that had gotten in his way. At first, he had been grateful for the forest that he had to go through, it was providing him shade from the sun, but he quickly remembered how humid forests were and couldn’t wait to get out.

He was lost in his thoughts before he heard a branch snap to his left. He quickly grabbed his blaster, ready to defend himself if need be. “Whose there?” His voice boomed out as he slowly started making his way over to where the sound had come from.

Artur rocked a little in his chair, “What is this card? The Star? Hmm....Am I an optimist? It really depends - most of the time, I can muster a positive thought for someone and believe everything will be okay. Sometimes, though...” he paused for only a second, “I can’t think of any good outcome for a situation.”
