How   long   had   he   been   gone   for  ?   Keith   had   no   real   way   of   telling.   For   him   he’d   been   gone   for   over   two   years,   he   hadn’t   seen   Lance   for   two   whole   years.   He’d   been   free   of   the   pull   in   his   mind   for   almost   an   entire   year,   and   he     hated     the   fact   that   once   he   came   back   he   could   feel   it   creep   back   in   his   mind   almost   instantly. 

❝   Lance,   ❞      Subject   41.      He’d   been   able   to   finally   catch   a   moment   alone   with   him,   finally   able   to   be   himself   around   him.   Although   now   Keith   was   a   few   inches   taller   than   Lance,   he   still   wasn’t   used   to   it.   ❝   I   think   we   need   to   talk.   ❞

❝ So, what you’re saying is that while I was away for two years it was only a few weeks for you ? ❞ He still wasn’t used to how time in space worked, how in some parts of the universe years are flying by and where they were time seemed to crawl by. Although he hadn’t really had the chance to hang out with any one from the team for years. ( at least for him )  ❝ So what happened while I was gone ? ❞ He’s taking the chance to not only ask about what happened with everyone else, but what it was like for Lance. How he dealt with Haggar alone.
