I doubt this blog is active that much but just know I still love our DP fandom small and quiet as it is. I've been listening to house music and went on a mini binge through all 4 studio albums from DP and well I've been reblogging old and slight new stuff. Still love this blog brought me some good memories and honestly out of the many fandoms I have been in since 2007 this has been the most welcoming and fun. Keep up the work fellow Daft Punks

Hey! oh gosh sorry, I was meaning to respond to this ages ago. I’m still here! and a lot of other people are too. life’s been a pretty rough on my end so it’s hard to keep up with this blog like I used to, but I couldn’t agree more with you! I love you folks, and it’s an honor to be able to run a blog like this. I only wish I could do it more often! 

Daft Punk’s music still gets me through rough times, and to hear that other people still look back and listen to their music or look through the fanart on this blog always puts a smile on my face. Rain or shine, I’m happy to talk with and hear from fellow fans! My ask box is always open to you. ꉂ ( ˆᴗˆ )

StarFox Adventures is BotW for the SF series. You have grateful and ungrateful npcs,a blue bird,protag dealing with bs and survivalist instincts. No one can tell me Link and Fox talking about dubious foods and Bafoomdads would not get along. Unless Link mentiins the foxes he's killed for food..

Oh my gosh, this ask gave me like so many thoughts all at once, let me break some of them down.

Link and Fox are like bragging about the various shenanigans they’ve had to deal with.  Link talks about the lynels.  Fox is like “Yeah, well, one time I landed my Arwing in this city and it was overrun by T-Rexes, so...”

Link holds up all these mushrooms he’s collected and Fox flinches at the red-colored ones.  

Bonus to the above thought: Fox asks if Link found his mushrooms in an old well.

But also I’ve never really thought about bafomdads before?  Like I can barely remember any lore surrounding them at all- they seemed to just be there.  I know in Dinosaur Planet, there was a location called Duster Cave.  Dusters being the beta name for bafomdads, of course.  So evidently there was more planned for them-- they were at least going to have a location. Or maybe... locations?  Because Dinosaur Planet clearly drew inspiration from Ocarina of Time, and bafomdads function the same as fairies in that game.  Kind of makes me wonder if the staff upgrade caves were originally locations that Sabre/Krystal/Fox would visit to get a bafomdad instead?

I wonder what Corneria would do if they found small red bunnies that could revive people...

All these ppl that I have seen that are popular are fan artist that have HUGE followings ,then and it really seems only then do I see actual original stuff being uploaded. But ya know according to their stans ppl like me are just "salty"

LEGIT. Like, yeah, maybe I am salty. I’m probably one of the saltiest people on this damn website, if we’re being honest. But it’s also super annoying that people who are popular continue to say the same things as if it always applies when it really doesn’t. Feels like the only reason they can stand saying “Just draw what you love!” is because they’re already popular.

Because some furries like anime.And some of us don’t live close to furry cons and like going to these cons as well,there are Japanese furries/fur cons.

.... i hope you’re not saying that the sakura matsuri or other nikkei events are the same as conventions, but in case you misunderstood i’m not saying furries shouldn’t be at anime conventions.

Ya know you make a good point,maybe it is just me. But when I first saw Fox I didn't think he was of that species. He always reminds me of a corgi or shiba inu. Like what if his hands also had the black sock marks too since he wears low gloves. And tipped ears because depending on the company it is nearly visible.

I feel like this is mostly Command’s fault for reverting to a more stylistic version of the cast and then Brawl just casually like... sticking with that design.  The smol ears don’t really do him any favors.

It is probably a little easter egg. But from a fandom ideal I like the idea of a Lylatian isn't named after their species then there is a lot of common names. Like how you tagged it the 'Dave' or 'John' of the planet or system.

I like to think that’s the case, to be honest.  But honestly, that kind of opens up some funny possibilities, like say there’s this other random rabbit named Peppy Hare that lives on Papetoon and he’s constantly getting Peppy from the SF team’s mail... can you imagine?  Getting like fan mail?

Meanwhile Peppy’s getting the guy’s bill statements or something.
