“Thank you, sir! Come again!” Galenu said happily with a big smile on her face. She sighed contently, sitting on a chair near the counter, stretching a bit. “Wow... didn’t expect a lot of people today. Feels like a couple of days ago when it got busy.” She whispered to herself and soon was interrupted by one of her employees.

“Miss, Corfee? Uh... should I make a run to get us some more flour tomorrow? We’re running out.” The troll said nervously. Galenu smiled, getting up and nods at her.

“Of course! If you feel like we need anything we’re running low of, don’t be hesitant about it, okay?” Galenu said genuinely. “Do what you feel is right. No need to ask for my permission!” The troll smiled and went to the back of the shop as Galenu waited for more customers to come.

“Today’s a beautiful day...” Galenu said to herself, a small smile on her face.

"O-OkAy... second night. Everything's going okAy! N-Nothing to worry About!"

"WhAt the hell you meAn check on PirAte's Cove?! Who's the guy behind the curtAins?!"

My puppet

The voice is nothing but a whisper. The only thing that was more audible was the pouring rain coming from outside. "So if I were to make at least thirty more cupcakes, then it should be enough to fill the trays at my bakery. Possibly!" Galenu said to herself, writing it down on a notebook. A loud crash came from upstairs which startled her.

She closed her book and turned to the stairs, slowly walking up them. She stopped once she was close to last of the third step away. Her eyes darted through the dark halls, then seeing a couple of cards flying towards her at high speed. She managed to dodged sum of them, but one was able to leave a cut on her left cheek. She uncaptcholgued her katars, seeing more cards flying towards as she managed to cut most of them with her weapon. "Where are you?! Come out! I'm not afraid to fight!"

No response. She then heard 'Right here' whispered behind her as she jumped forward to the floor. She quickly turned around to see the troll towering over her. A flash of thunder erupted and lit the inside of the hive through the windows for a second. She managed to see the troll's face and him holding a knife. "Stop." He said. She kept crawling away, but a sudden sensation of pain struck her as she screamed. Her body not functioning to her as her limbs halted in place. "H-How...? I can't move!" She whimpered, the troll walking towards her and crouching down to her.

"Galenu... Corfee. That cut from my cards was enough for me to leave a bit of a... how do you say? Poison? No. Too harsh. Such a word shouldn't be said to an adorable girl like you. No. A potion. A bit of serum that was coated on the edge of my cards." He gives a wide smile, a smile that only a psycho could make with the eyes of a insane troll. "I kept a good eye on you. I'm really disappointed in you. To think that you were once a slave. A slave, Galenu! You were his slave and now you are with him." She turned her head away from him. She already knew about this subject well enough that she asks herself this all the time. "Galenu. I want you to think. Do you actually believe in his love? Do you believe that he won't murder the mutant that you are protecting with your life? Do you believe that you'll be able to handle him torturing your kind for much longer? Think about it, Galenu. Though no matter what you do, no matter how much you wish to deny it, you know that he'll leave you. In a heartbeat, you'll be nothing. Just a troll getting in his way. They are all like that, Galenu. These... high bloods, only care about themselves. We are only pawns, bait to be fed to the howlingbeasts. Though it doesn't matter to you, hmm? No need. You listen to every single word I say. You can't resist the serum. A powerful toxin that makes me a puppeteer."

Her eyes widened, tears flowing down her cheeks as she glances at the troll in front of her. "You are my puppet, girly. Even when I'm not here, a single word from me would be enough for you to cooperate with that action. I'm the one holding the cards. I'm the one only wanting to protect our kind. Though I want you to consider of what I said. Goodbye... for now." He grinned, standing up and walked downstairs and out the front door. Another strike of thunder trembled the landscape as the rain continued to pour harder outside. She was still unable to move, but finally, her limbs began to function to her as she crawled to a corner and begin to sob. "No... no, no, no, no! H-He's... going to make me kill him one day... I can't listen... but my body can and I can't stop that..."

"Please... someone help me..."

Proud of you

... As I write this, I do hope that whoever my descendant may be, shall not become anything like me. I've done so much that I deeply regret. So much that it's burned into my memory, my mind and I feel nothing but misery. My descendant. My blood line that shall continue. I hope you learn from this, learn of the things I've done that which is prohibited to be done.

When the time is right, you're abilities shall open up. Though use it wisely as you grow up. Though keep in mind this: don't become a miserable troll like me.  Do the right things. Enjoy your life to the fullest.

Whatever good things you'll do, I know that I'll be very proud of you.

The journal closed, moved aside on the corner of the desk as Galenu stares at it for a couple of seconds. Many have been mentioned in her ancestor's journal. Betrayal, misery, suffering, regret. All of these things that she hopes won't happen. Though it's odd that her ancestor had a matesprit who was a high blood, but later on betrayed her.

It scared her. Knowing that she's afraid of anything she can do wrong. Could her matesprit betray her? Plan something so vile and horrid for her?

She'll never know for sure. Though her ancestor was quite interesting even to be known as "The Seducer." She was forced to manipulate trolls to fall for her and kill them later on. One of her ancestor's regrets.

Even so, it made Galenu feel slightly better knowing that any good things she does, her ancestor will feel proud for her. Like a spirit that watches over the one person they so wish to see thrive to a perfect being, one person that can bring light over the darkest days.

She smiled to herself as she thought over it. She felt a cold draft behind her and quickly turned around, but nothing was behind her. Her lusus was the only one behind her, but she's fast asleep. A ghost? Spirit? She looked around one more time and finally has an idea. She pulled out a piece of paper and began to write on it. If there's no spirit, then she possibly made a fool of herself.

"Is anyone there?" She wrote down, leaving it on her desk and waited. Waited. Waited. After a minute, she frowned, sighing to herself figuring that some cold air must've came in from outside through the windows, that might be slightly open. She was about to move away from her desk when she hears the sound of sizzling. She turned back around and sees the paper burning, but seems to be burning words onto it 'Galenu. My descendant. I'm proud of you. I'm here with you, my dear. Continue being happy.' Her eyes widened, but she couldn't help but to give a big smile seeing this.

"Thank you, Lectes. Thank you." She said, humming happily.

Galenu paced back and forth, looking over at the clock every few seconds whenever she stops pacing then going back to it. "Where is he! He said he'll be here!" When she finally finished her sentence, she heard a knock that was very familiar to her and she only knows one person that knocks as many times. She quickly runs to the door, opening it to see Jaisnt, smiling brightly. "You called?" He said. She smiled, hugging him and finally pulling away to let him in.

He walked inside and sat on the couch while she closed the door, walking over to sit beside him. "Jaisnt! You won't believe what's been going on-" "Gal, you told me about this about an hour ago when I was getting here." She pouted, crossing her arms and glared at him. "Anyway... I need your help! You have a girlfriend and I'm sure you've already done a lot of things with her... so... can you tell me what... what kind of things man finds... attractive?"

Jaisnt blinked, clearing his throat and shifts around a little. "Galenu... why are you-" "I just want to know! I'm... I'm planning to do something special for Xavien. I thought that wearing clothing that girls would wear nowadays would work, but, well, it kinda did, though... I want it to be something. Something that can make Xavien to never take hi eyes off me for one second, you know?" She said as she twiddled her thumbs. "Listen, Galenu, I got turned into a girl twice and I can say that I don't know what girls like to wear when it's that right moment for mates, or kismesis', to pail each other. You... I can say that you never got full experience, but just the text one, right?"

She slightly nods. "How about you just be yourself? I can admit that me and my mate, Oborus, pailed a couple of times and it doesn't take much for it to happen. Though if you want to make it fancy, then go right ahead, go nuts! No one's stopping you and not even Xavien. He loves you for who you are, but if you want to add more spice onto it, then knock yourself out." He smiled as she turned to look at him. "But... what if he doesn't like it? I mean... I don't have a big breasts like... most girls and I'm not very curvy... or skinny and-" "Galenu! It doesn't matter what you look like! You're worrying too much and I know the reason why and I don't think he cares if you're a low blood or not. Seriously, I've seen a bunch of high blood girls that have flat or average sized breasts and sizes, height, all that kind of stuff. You just have to let go of that mentality because if he only go for just high bloods, then you wouldn't be his matesprit."

She stared at him for moment, then looked down at her feet. He was right for one thing though she can't shake that feeling that there's a possibility that Xavien won't like her for the way she looks. She pretends to accept Jaisnt's offer either way and nods slightly. "Good. If you need anything, contact me or my mate. Her handle is vengefulVoyager if you ever want to talk to her about those stuff. I'm just giving you half the details, but I'm sure Oborus could give you the full version of it." He pat her back gently, waving to her and left her hive. "... Maybe I should ask her..."

Disgusting

The oven beeped, the sweet aroma of cookies filling the air. Galenu walking down to the kitchen, opening the small oven door and pulled out the tray of cookies. "They're done! I better remember to take these to the bakery tomorrow." She said to herself. A knock came from the door, she quickly turned to the front, hearing another knock. She didn't expect any visitors or it could possibly be Xavien.

She smiled, thinking it could be him as she walks to the door, opening it and standing in front of the door is the same sea dweller that brought her to slavery. The mask she wore looked very horrifying and ominous. Galenu's eyes widened and she quickly closed the door, but was blocked by the sea dwellers heels. "I don't think you should do that, dear. After all, you shouldn't be rude to guests." Her voice sent chills to Galenu's spine, her heart beating faster than ever until she sees the blade of her halberd go right through the door.

Galenu screamed, running upstairs, but tripped on the steps. Her leg was grabbed and she was pulled down. She hit the ground, groaning in pain. "Look at that? Does this seem familiar, miss Corfee? To think you gave up so easily that I thought of you as some lunatic! But now I see that it was her that caused you to act that way." The sea dweller grabbed onto the broken horn of Galenu, her arms flailing and her red red with rage as she tries to claw at the sea dweller. "You are the most worthless yellow blood I have ever seen." Galenu continued to flail her arms, until she grabbed onto the sea dweller's arm and clawed at her skin until she started to bleed.

The sea dweller hissed, throwing Galenu back to the ground as she raised her halberd and cuts off Galenu's right hand. Galenu screamed in agony, the place where her hand used to be bleeding. "Next time you should learn respect for high bloods like us! Especially brain washing the blue blood who was your owner! Your kind are just disgusting! Every of you low bloods and betrayers alike!" The sea dweller kicked Galenu across the face, making her knocked out cold as she quietly left, leaving Galenu alone and bleeding on the floor.

Galenu sat on her couch, hugging a pillow as she stared at the t.v. which is playing a random movie about a rainbow drinker falling in love with another troll. To be honest, she doesn't know what the whole plot of the movie is about anymore. All she knows that there's rainbow drinker after rainbow drinker.

Her lusus lay on her lap, purring happily and asleep. "You're lucky that you don't have to worry about finding quadrants, mom. We trolls do... sometimes we do need them in order for us to get calmed down... Do you think there was a chance that he'd... feel the same way?" She talked to herself, continuing to watch the movie as she gave a confused look when it got to the part of the rainbow drinker is shirtless and... sparkling? "... Maybe I should've stayed there a little while... I'm okay if he doesn't feel the same way that I do to him. I mean... there's many other trolls in Alternia."

She gently rubbed her lusus' back, smiling as she watches it shift slightly and purring loudly. "I wonder how Varani is doing. I know she's alive. Xavien didn't come back out of nowhere. She showed me her abilities once before and I was surprised that it would effect me..." She leaned over and grabbed the remote without disturbing her lusus' sleep, turning off the t.v. with it, leaving her in silence while the only noise that was coming out was from her lusus.

"I don't know if I should ever go back to talk to him. And his scream as he fell... I don't know why I didn't go back to help him. Everything's confusing... love is confusing to me and I guess I don't know too much about it." She says, letting out a sigh and frowning. "... I want to see him again... even if it will be the last time. He's probably mad at me. He has every reason to be. I wonder if my ancestor ever had this problem. I know that she doesn't fall in love very easily... Or maybe I could... seduce him. My ancestor used her body to attract people... just because she was very attractive. Maybe..." She sighed heavily, burying half her face in her pillow as she pulled out the locket that Xavien gave her. "It might be the only way..."

I'm sorry

Galenu walked back to the high blood's hive, holding a couple of bags to make something for dinner. She doesn't want to just celebrate 12th Perigee on an empty stomach. Though she feels as if someone has been watching her, quickly turning around to see who was behind her. No one. Her heart racing the longer she stayed around as she starts running towards the hive.

She finally made it to the hive, but was stopped by a random troll that appeared in front of her. She gasped, falling backwards and dropped the things on the ground. "You make me sick, girlie. Seeing you with that monster." He crouches down, grinning. "Wh-who are you?! Leave me alone! Please! I-I don't want any trouble!"

"That don't matter between you and me, girlie. My name is Kalios. Like you, I'm a yellow blood, but I'm not owned by anyone. By any of those monsters." He gets up, taking out his dagger from his coat. "Xavien's not a monster! N-Not all of them-" "They are all horrific beasts that care nothing but themselves!" He screamed, his eyes filled with anger. He grabbed her by the throat with his hand, pushing her against a tree. "How can you be so kind to someone so horrible even knowing that you're only just a mere slave that means nothing to him." He aims the knife at her abdomen, quickly reacting, she grabbed his wrists, pushing it back with all of her strength, feeling him shaking and trying to stab his way through. 'No! Please! Please! I don't want to die! I-I don't want to-' She loses her grip and instantly felt the blade going through her.

Her eyes widened, tears streaming down her face. Kalios only grinned and soon disappeared. She fell onto her knees, keeping pressure onto the wound with her hand. "No... I'm... r-right there." She reaches out with her other hand, but fell onto the ground and started to crawl towards the door. "I'm sorry... Xavien... I'm sorry." she whispers to herself. She stopped crawling as she made to the front door, but losing all of her energy. She lay there, bleeding out, surrounded by her blood puddle. "Xavien... I'm sorry... I-I'm sorry I won't... see you open y-y-your presents... b-but... I'm sure you'd like them... right? ... right...?" She smiles, knowing that she's still on top of snow and begin writing on it. 'I'm sorry' was what she wrote. "Master... I'm sorry... I'm Xav-" She couldn't finish her sentence as everything went black, leaving nothing but her body on the front door.
