He had made it. Gale had won the hunger games. Words could not express the joy in his family's eyes nor the relief and happiness that lay in Katniss Everdeen's gaze. The train would be in soon, and she'd get to see him for the first time in a while. There she stood with his family d her own waiting for him. Katniss had become more of a regular in the Hawthorne family home. While he was away Katniss had done her best to make sure they were fed, like she had promised to him before he left.
The train arrived and when the doors opened Katniss smiled brightly. Her arm rose and she gave him a wave, Posy secure in her other arm, also waving. "Welcome home Gale!"
Rescued from the Quell
Olesya let out a soft breath as she woke up slowly. That in itself was different. A calm, quiet waking was rare. Though as was her luck as a victor, it didn't last long. One glance around the space she was in. Had her screaming and looking around for her knife. She was inside a hovercraft, and didn't know if Plutarch and Haymitch succeeded or if she had been captured by the Capitol. She looked down at her arm, where she had dug out her tracker. It was wrapped up in bandages. Her attention was drawn to the doors, as a unfamiliar male entered. "Who are you? What do you want? Where are my knives?" She asked in rapid succession, tying her hardest to control her breathing.

"Then what am I even going to do? Just sit here for two days?" He pursed his lips.
