A large part of me wishes I was in Hostages Square in Tel Aviv tonight, instead of home in the states.
I know this isn't about me, but these people, waiting together, singing and crying...they feel like my family, just as much as some of the hostages about to be released feel like family.
After 3 Israel trips in the last 2 years, including being evacuated during the Iran war...being at home watching a livestream feels so...distant and isolated.
But none of that matters. As long as they all come home.
