The Galil ARM & its Inventor

Hey guys the latest Armourer’s Bench video is now live! In this week’s video Vic takes a look at an Israeli Galil ARM and tells us about the time he met its inventor, Yisrael Galili! 

This episode also features a section of footage from one of the original media demonstrations of the Galil when it was first unveiled back in the early 70s. Galil was quite the showman firing the rifle above his head, burying it in sand, dunking it in water before dumping the mag. He also fired off rifle smoke grenades and of course opened soda bottles - the rifle’s best known feature.
