Call this an investment. Expect good things to come your way shortly.
Fun little attempt at:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT91TGuGMko
I will be re-recording all the previous covers and some new one so that they are really tight in in the next few weeks once University is done. These are all little fun attempts after like 2 tries of recording and really don't reflect the final conclusion of time put into learning them ^^
Had a go at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8w3xR2_XIbU
I need to re-record these attempts because I have gotten them so much tighter since.
Had a crack at this song, original can be found here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VwOw-VQpHQ
Real fun and ive got it down even tighter since recording this.
Video 2 recorded on the day of purchase. Messing around in ableton getting used to stuff especially with free hand work.
Song is from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, I transcribed the notes from piano midi to launchpad and then learnt from there basically.
Video 1 recorded on the day of purchase. Messing around in ableton getting used to everything again basically.
Beginning
Hey hi hey welcome to my blog all about and dedicated to that sexy launchpad thing.
Well what even, name is Dom(inic) I am a 20 year old so and so living in Worcester UK.
I have a lot of experience with traditional instruments (more than a decade on guitar and minus a few years on bass) and have studio experience both behind the recording desk and the one being recorded, unfortunately very little key experience which I hear is what transcribes over best.
But as far as mixing, masher-uppering (if that isn't a word, I called it), and general solo production stuff goes I am a complete novice and have been trying to find the time to learn between study and work (but its slow and hard).
So this is my blog, my personal space of improvement.
